the staff was very friendly, indeed. The room was quiet and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent. We also enjoyed the cheese platter as well as their hot appetisers (especially when you had a sumptuous luncheon, elsewhere and really only want to have something to nibble).

A very good, clean hotel with helpful and polite staff. Very good breakfast, spacious rooms and free parking. It had a swimming pool but due to the bad weather we didn't use it.

Hotel is in the centre of a very quiet country village. No traffic noise during the hours of darkness. Had the best night's sleep I've had in ages. I'd go back there for the sleep quality alone! Staff very friendly (and English speaking) and helpfull. When the battery in my vehicle died they called a local garage for me and had me back on the road in 10 minutes and pointed towards the nearest main dealer for my vehicle. They were also able to recommend some very good resturants nearby (as in within 10 mins walking distance) one of them Michelin recommended. We had some very good meals at reasonable prices during our stay. There are lots of Chateau's and museums nearby - again one less than a 10 min walk away. Surounding countryside is all farmland and driving along the quiet roads had a very relaxing "olde worlde" feel to it. Hotel has it's own parking area and appears to get quite a lot of cyclists. Very good continental breakfast available (extra cost) in a dining room that stood out for its spotlessness - no matter how busy. Would definetly recommend this place!

A lovely quite countryside location with good access to the surrounding area. Many chateaux were within an hours car drive. Both adults and children loved Chateaux Villandry with it's amazing formal gardens. Tours was a gem with lots of places to dine in. There is so much to see and do in this area....we love it.

The location was easy to find and the accommodation was...

The location was easy to find and the accommodation was clean and ready to go. We enjoyed a day trip to Paris, taking in the Eiffel Tower and Norte Dame Cathedral. The hosts have a well thought out property and take pride in their business ensuring their customers have everything they need, offering advice on how to travel to Paris when asked, in a very timely manner. We felt all our needs were taken care of at this property with an excellent range of kitchen utensils and appliances. Comfortable beds and bed linen. An excellent break in a wonderful property.
