We had a really pleasant stay at Escale en baie. The room was very clean and modern. It looked exactly how it is shown in the photos. The breakfast was plenty and delicious. The owners are very kind persons, which make some very good suggestions for places to visit. Pontaubault is small and cute place and so close to Mont St Michel. It is strongly recommended.

Nice little annex room with its own private bathroom, joined to the hosts’ house. Very friendly hosts. We booked quite late while on a bike tour and they were very welcoming. You can order homemade pizzas to have in the room which was a godsend as it was pouring rain the night we arrived.

Staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel was clean and well equipped with plenty of plugs, including USB ports in the room. They also have a kettle in the room, unlike a lot of French hotels, but there was also a coffee machine in the foyer/dining room. We were on motorbikes, and they allowed us to park in the courtyard, and our room (number 8) was directly above, so perfect for us.
