This is our favourite stopover for our journey to and from Spain. The garden overflows with nature, we wake up listening to 10 different bird calls. The hotel has the most comfortable bed and pillows, the breakfast is superb. The addition of the outside dining area has really enhanced the stay this year and made our evening meal even more special. We can’t fault the host for his hospitality and sense of humour and always love booking our return journey.

Extremely helpful and friendly owners. Very comfortable with lovely surroundings. Breakfast was varied and nicely presented. The assistance organising a breakdown recovery was much appreciated, nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

We came to Auberge de Crissay for the second time and it is still the same lovely place as it was when we first came here in 2019. The auberge is beautifully situated in a rural but stunning area. Flowers everywhere, friendly hosts and lovely food which is served in a field just opposite of the Auberge, so that you can admire the view while you have diner. We arrived early and luckily our room was ready. Soon thereafter we sat by the pool enjoying the nice and quiet scenery.

One of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed at! Idyllic location & farmhouse, fantastic garden, weather was glorious. Most attentive hosts who treated us like their personal guests. Gave us iced water on arrival, made us a beautiful cold soup for apero & provided the wine glasses as we sat round their pool drinking our own sparkling wine. Booked a nearby restaurant for us too. Huge room, every comfort provided, we could also have used a sitting room Breakfast was excellent & extensive.

Jan and Annika know hospitality. At a time when many hotels lean on impersonal self-service check-ins for the sake of efficiency, their warm welcome stands out. That personal touch continues at breakfast, where the quality and presentation reflect real care. The whole house and rooms are tastefully decorated and obviously maintained with pride, the whole style made us feel instantly at home. The garden is larger than expected, an ideal spot for playing outdoor games with the kids.
