I originally chose this place for its proximity to the lavender fields but I'd taken a tour from Nice that visited lavender fields so I just really enjoyed my taxi ride to their place. The lavender in that area was a much richer hue than that of the tour earlier. I was delighted that check-in was just a warm greeting by the couple that owns the place so arriving at their place felt like coming home. I didn't want to leave to go see more lavender. Their property is beautiful!! Little trails to explore with chaise loungers or chairs found in the most surprising places. Just nature as far as the eye can see. The pool was such a treat and the gardens just lovely. I was given a selection of things to choose from a menu for the dinner later, and for breakfast the next day, that they prepare themselves with fresh local products, many from the property or their neighbours'! My room was beautiful, very modern for such a country home, and so so comfortable. Thank you Brigitte and Sébastien for your beautiful oasis and hospitality!

The location on the lavendar fields was majestic at sunset. Agnes & Frederic were wonderful hosts and our stay was topped off by a beautiful home cooked dinner & dessert with wine for 40EUR per person. A relaxing stay and just what was needed between a busy stay in Paris and Nice.

Very small town, right in the middle of the lavender field...

Very small town, right in the middle of the lavender field area. Not much to do in it, almost no attractions, very few restaurants. But it is definitely conveniently located for lavender fields and for visiting other nearby towns. So we spend one day visiting the lavender fields and the others doing something else, but we had to pass by the fields every time. I felt that was really nice. We felt that 4 nights there was more than enough.

Sadly we arrived when the lavender fields were already cut (only few were still nice lavender colour). In the village one restaurant was opened until 23:00 and they served us even though we arrived after 22:15. The others were already closed.

Location was excellent. It was very near to the center of Valensole and about 8 minutes drive by car to the lavender fields. Breakfast was lovely, including fresh eggs and homemade jam, served on the terrace of the beautiful garden.

Perfect location in the quiet part of Valensole but still close to the city centre. It is possible to drive by (smaller) car directly to the apartment to take out luggage, however free parking is on the parallel street (3 min walk).
