Lovely little town on the River Waveney, with the cutest...

Lovely little town on the River Waveney, with the cutest Lido and outdoor sauna, which was a fabulous surprise. Amazing walks along the river, and a gorgeous old Church steeped in history. We were there for a friend's wedding, so didn't have a great deal of time to explore, so we'll definitely be back in the Spring.

Had a fabulous family weekend staying here. In the middle of the countryside. Plenty of room for 5 of us. Each bedroom had an en-suite. Well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. The lounge was cozy with wood burner. Hot tub was also great although took quite a while to heat up. Have stayed here before and would definitely recommend it.

Beccles is an interesting and varied town with many historical landmarks and also the beginning of the The Broads. The River Waveney runs adjacent to the town along which there are many walking opportunities. Plenty of pubs and restaurants and a good shopping destination.

Beccles is a delightful little town, though there wasn't...

Beccles is a delightful little town, though there wasn't much to do on a very cold day in February. We would love to go back when the weather is kinder. Despite the cold there were people swimming in the lido! In the summer there's a ferry from there to a community owned pub.

Great staging post for Norfolk and Suffolk. A market town with great places to eat and drink. The river provides lovely walks and things to do. The Wine Vaults has great food and Weatherspoons has a great breakfast.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cottage! It’s in a great location—peaceful yet close to all the amenities in Beccles and just a short drive to the beach. The cottage itself was spotless, spacious, and really well presented. Mark, the host, was very helpful and upfront, letting us know about a heating issue which we discovered on arrival, luckily we didn’t need it during our stay. Would highly recommend and would happily return!

Enjoyed a lovely stay at The Swan, attend a concert in Beccles town center, ideally situated in town center, surrounded by jobs. Comfortable bedroom, I was up in loft. Nice food... Very homely and comfy sitting on sofas..in main pub, Would love to attend pub when the log fire is on.. Lovely staff very welcoming.. Clean and had a fridge which was brilliant, more hotels need mini fridges. Lovely old building and seating outside.

Such a well run hotel, all the staff were exceptional, very helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Fantastic room and a great view over the courtyard. It's in the centre of town, although there's no parking there is a carpark a five minute walk away @£4 a day. We will certainly be staying there again

Stayed here whilst visiting Beccles, ideal location lovely quiet pub with excellent staff. We had our evening meal here and OMG the portions were extremely generous! Next time we will definitely eat here again. Looking forward to a return visit soon!
