It’s a beautiful old building on the edge of town. Rooms spacious, grounds lovely, good spread for breakfast. The staff are all fantastic, really welcoming and accommodating. Great communication. Lovely food in the restaurant for dinner.

I have walked through the woodland walks looking down at this mansion many times over the years. Back then it was owned by the Findhorn Foundation and people paid hundreds of pounds to stay at residential wellbeing courses here. It was a privilege to spend a night here. Clean, comfortable bedroom. The bath was enormous with plentiful hot water. Will definitely stay again.

An amazing house! It was really big with very spacious rooms. Plenty of bathrooms for the size of house. Even though the lounge was big, it felt cosy. Beds extremely comfortable. Carol was so lovely and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you.

Breakfast was excellent. We ate everything served and left nothing on the plate. Most enjoyed conversation with other guests from European countries. Was a very precious opportunity for us travelling from Tokyo to meet and talk with such people at the big common table while having breakfast. The hosts were most friendly, very helpful and professional to make our stay extremely comfortable and relaxing. The facilities were kept clean, just like top-rated international hotels, and estate itself was in the midst of the green woods, fresh natural air and with a bit of Scottish historic flavour.

Forres is a lovely friendly town. It has lots of shops to browse. Grants parks amazing for children and any 4 legged friends. Chimes is a Great coffee shop. There was lots going on within the town with it being Remembrance Sunday.

I can’t say enough positive things about the lovely Lily...

I can’t say enough positive things about the lovely Lily Cottage. It was spotlessly clean,well appointed and has everything that one would need for a fantastic holiday in Findhorn. Pub, Bakehouse, Hotel, Cafe and beaches all within walking distance. Parked my car for the duration of the stay. Didn’t need it. The cottage is finished to a high standard and beautifully furnished.

Our stay in Forres was good.

Our stay in Forres was good. We were most impressed with the Mosset Tavern and the chippy next door. We were visiting relatives so did'nt do much site seeing, but visited Logie Steading Gallery and most impressed

Forres is one of the best, nicest towns along the Moray...

Forres is one of the best, nicest towns along the Moray Firth coast. There are still independent shops and beautiful well-kept green park areas. It has a Victorian heritage. There are a number of pubs with nice areas to sit out in. Forres is also well-connected for road, rail and air links. It forms a good base for exploring or for business visits.

Beautiful town of old buildings along the High Street. Grant Park was lovely. Huge area of lovely flower beds and play park for children. For lovers of archaeology the Huge Suennos Stone is situated in the town.

The little huts were great and much warmer than anticipated. There were two of us and 2 dogs and we were comfortable in the space. We didn't use it, but it was a lovely little touch to have a TV available and the firepits outside. The location is beautiful, great for watching the sheep with your morning coffee and only a short drive into Forres, Nairn or Inverness. Karen was really friendly and welcoming, checking we'd arrived safely and saying hello when in and around the huts. Was great to find a dog friendly location too!

I liked the vibe of the hotel, staff were very friendly and excellent value for money. It was very handy for letting call tourist attractions. Breakfast was included and we were given two complimentary drinks vouchers to use in the bar.

Basically, the upside of this place was its availability at short notice and the price. The 'hotel' is a partially renovated old conference centre. Reception staff were usually absent but staff were responsive on email
