We had the pleasure of staying at the Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport, an IHG Hotel, from November 21st to November 22nd, 2024, and we were thoroughly impressed with the experience. We would like to especially highlight the exceptional professionalism and kindness of a staff member from Sri Lanka who was at the reception during our stay. His dedication, attentiveness, and warm demeanor made our visit truly special. He went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable, and we cannot praise him enough for his outstanding service. During our stay, there was a minor issue with the heating in our room. However, the staff quickly resolved it by providing us with electric heaters, ensuring we remained comfortable throughout our stay. Their prompt response was greatly appreciated. Additionally, we were delighted by the delicious cuisine at the hotel. The meals were of excellent quality, beautifully presented, and truly added to our enjoyment of the stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and the incredibly friendly staff as I was not particularly happy about having to book a hotel (early flight and no available taxis). I thought it would be noisy but it was really quiet. The room was large with two very comfy double beds. We were picked up at the station and dropped off at Terminal 1 - less than 5 mins away - and both times that was super efficient and friendly. It makes all the difference at 4am! We ate in the bar and that was great too.

The Ibis Budget Hotel was an excellent choice.!

The Ibis Budget Hotel was an excellent choice.! Although the room was small, we were only there for one night. Most importantly, it was clean, had a great shower, a comfy bed, was very quiet and was so convenient for the airport! We will certainly stay there again when flying from Manchester.

Chosen for proximity to T2 and the right price.

Chosen for proximity to T2 and the right price. What we expected for the price. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast at 5am. Great for travellers. Pizza and wine for dinner and an early night, ready for a very early start. Only 10min walk to T2 and we'll signposted.

was offered the upgraded room for £10.00, carparking is £20.00 per day no concessions, wifi was poor kept losing connection or did not connect at all, service charges added to meal in restaurant regardless - plus point, king size bed, fridge, coffee machine, and very large TV

Perfect place to stay when on an early flight.

Perfect place to stay when on an early flight. Warm welcome and really helpful staff. Evening meal was lovely and hot. We were up super early and there was already a continental option breakfast waiting to help yourself. Hot and cold drinks and everything was fresh. Thanks for the great start to our holiday.

We were there as we had a late arrival from a flight .zWe needed to sleep before continuing our journey home .Overall breakfast was very good though cooked foods were just warm and I prefer my food hot Facilities in the room were excellent I and would highly recommend to others

Nice newer hotel. Attractive decorating. Well laid out rooms. Excellent shower. Good common areas in the lobby with tables and games. Nice bar with good selections of drinks and treats. Vending machine food (high quality) in the lobby = accessible at all hours. Short walk to the airport. Good value for the price.

Great option to stay close to Manchester Airport ahead of an early morning flight. Rooms were comfortable and a good size. Minimal noise from both the airport and main roads close by. Staff are all friendly and helpful. It's an easy 15min walk from the hotel to the Car Rental Village for a pick-up or drop-off of a rental vehicle, and the airport shuttle is also easy to arrange for transfer to the airport terminals.

Excellent location and facilities with a brilliant shuttle service from train station to hotel and hotel to airport. With the shuttle to the train station and back so easy to spend down time in Manchester( 15mins on train ). We had red eye flight so booked the hotel in advance 1 day ....to give us more relaxed time.....good bar as well in the hotel for a drink ....we will be using in future for all early flights

Perfect location when returning to Manchester Airport as the hotel is on the grounds, the rooms are decent sized for a family, the breakfast which was included in the price was lovely, the staff are always welcoming and very helpful no matter what time you arrive at the hotel, would definitely stay again for early morning flights / arrivals before the travel home .
