The house is spacious and has been refurbished to a high level. The location is beautiful with so many walks on your doorstep around the estate, with great equestrian facilities. The bedrooms are comfortable and warm with great beds and black out blinds. The showers are good and the living room has lovely sofas, a peat burning stove for cozy evenings and a smart tv. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the dining room is perfect for leisurely dinners. Would absolutely stay again!

Had a fantastic welcome pack with milk in the fridge, cereal, biscuits, tea and coffee, Everything was there that you could possibly need for your stay, very comfortable, large carparking facility, garden with BBQ (not needed this weekend as was Christmas :-D Will definitely return.

A great place for touring, friendly natives, Mahons is a...

A great place for touring, friendly natives, Mahons is a family run friendly hotel, staff very friendly and helpful, food excellent, entertainment at weekends excellent, although they work on what we nickname Fermanagh time which usually means nothing arrives or starts exactly on time as advertised, it's very laid back and relaxing.

Excellent town shopping not bad good shoe shop and ladies and men clothing shop for a small town it was excellent. Nice drive to enniskillen which was not far away. Hotel food was first class really, really good. Did not try anywhere else as no point . Really enjoyed going around reading the famine story not enough time and so much to learn.

Irvinestown is lovely and quiet.

Irvinestown is lovely and quiet. Plenty of good quality shopping, people so kind, friendly and helpful. 25 minutes drive to Enniskillen. Well situated for sightseeing. We ate in Mahons hotel very reasonable and great food. Also in Mollys big open fire and good food.

In the Fermanagh Lakes and close to all Lovely town with lots of shops and the people are very friendly Live music in the Hotel bar is good an it does get busy Good atmosphere Hotel food is high standard

I wish we'd taken more walks around the nearby area.

I wish we'd taken more walks around the nearby area. We spoke to some locals who recommended the bridle paths and a walk around the castle ruins. We dined in Mollys Gastro Pub Restaurant - it was excellent.

Irvinestown is a small little town which has supermarket, bank, pubs, chemists, fast food places, a clothes shop, plus a few others. But it has open country all around it, so you could walk the roads and lanes. The locals are friendly and pleasant. It is quiet and night life none existence apart from pubs. But it is a good base to stay at while only a short drive from bigger shopping areas and interesting places such as lochs, the Ulster folk park, giants causeway, Londonderry, Guinness trail, Portrush etc without the noise of busy towns or cities.

The rooms were very tastefully decorated. Beds very comfy and bedding soft and comfortable. Everything was very peaceful and quiet. An easy check in , getting keys at Mahons hotel, very accommodating, changed rooms for us. We were taken over to the courtyard and showed to our rooms.

The apartment was in a beautiful countryside setting. It has everything you need for self catering and plenty of hotels and restaurants nearby. Close to the local town. Peaceful and quiet. Clean and tidy. Host is very friendly.
