I was just staying in Sheene Mill for 1 night in Autumn to visit a friend who lives locally and it was a perfect place to rest. The room I stayed in was spacious and stunning, with exposed beams and beautiful wooden furnishings to give it that classic atmosphere. The staff were both professional and approachable. The hotel itself seems to be a fantastic venue for weddings and other events; it had a bar, big restaurant/kitchen, plenty of seating both inside and outside, and plenty of parking. I loved going outside to the beautiful garden with a river running through it. This setting was extra beautiful at night when all the lights came on! The wildlife was fascinating to watch, too. It's clear that this hotel is very well taken care of and I recommend it highly.

This place was absolutely stunning, quite out in the country but great location for the science parks in the south of Cambridge. The rooms were really great, very comfortable and very clean and the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The breakfast was also exceptional. I can't wait to stay here again!

Perfect stop over when we were in Duxford for a family celebration. Really clear instructions for finding accommodation and parking. The room had everything we needed for our overnight stay - comfy bed, lovely shower, great selection on tea tray. Would definitely recommend 👍🏼

A beautiful place to stay, warm, cosy and welcoming. Everything you could need for a perfect stay. The room was clean, bright and warm. The bed and pillows were so comfy I slept really well. Maire was fantastic. She is super friendly and couldn’t have done more for me. Nothing was too much trouble. I will certainly be back when next in Royston.

The setting is idyllic. Our room was incredibly comfy after a half day hiking - loved the deep bath and good quality bedding. Dinner was very tasty, great drinks and a lovely atmosphere. The Red Cow pulls off being both a real pub in the community and pretty upmarket place to stay.

The room was spacious, immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. Attention to detail was beyond measure in all respects. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom well appointed and my delicious full English breakfast was wonderful. My host Hazel's bubbly personality is a joy! Highly Recommended!!!!

Les is a most welcoming host and the breakfast he provided was amazing, wonderfully fresh with lots of choice, beautifully presented and of the highest quality - the best breakfast I think I’ve ever eaten! The accommodation is in a quiet but convenient spot in the village of Melbourn with a lovely garden and is very handy for visiting the Imperial War Museum at Duxford.

This hotel has idyllic grounds and comfy rooms. Breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh to order but the highlight for us was the lovely lady serving breakfast gave us some duck food to feed the resident ducks, plus made us a delicious coffee, even got to see three ducklings too, would definitely stay again.

The hotel cancelled our booking the day before. They were very rude, saying ‘how many times do I need to apologise?’ And telling us that someone else had walked in and paid for two night and we ‘hadn’t paid’ in line with Booking.com policy.
