This is the first place in The UK that I could easily say I felt at home. The apartment is fully equipped with all that you might wish. The place was really clean and cosy for a person from the continent /you know what I mean :) /. See you next time when we'll give us much more time to visit the splendid distilleries in Speyside. Thank you so much!

Social hub of this town. If you want to feel a local experience, you should stay here and use a bar here. Everyone here is sssoooo very kind and professional. Foods are dellicious and the collection of their whisky is actually stunning. When I come back here, I definitely will visit here again. Thanks to everyone, and the bartender Kei!

My wife, our furry friend, and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Brylach Steading near Aberlour, and it was truly a delightful experience. Despite being a last-minute booking, we were warmly welcomed by the host, who had the heating on and the stove lit—a perfect treat after a wet afternoon exploring Glenmore! The house exuded warmth and comfort, with a well-equipped kitchen that provided us with everything we needed for our two-night stay. It was a relief to find all the basics readily available, making meal preparation a breeze. The location of Brylach Steading was perfect for our plans to explore the Cairngorms and the stunning beaches around Spey Bay (Lossiemouth, Kingston, Portknockie, ...). We were surrounded by natural beauty and had plenty of opportunities for scenic walks and adventures. We were particularly touched by the kindness and hospitality of the host, who made us feel right at home. Their thoughtful gestures made our stay even more enjoyable, and we felt truly welcomed. Overall, our experience at Brylach Steading was wonderful. It provided the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and hospitality, making it an ideal base for exploring the Aberlour area. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy retreat in the Scottish Highlands.

The town itself is not particularly pretty, but the surroundings are lovely, and the volunteer run visitor centre, 'The Cottage' is great! The local school children had produced a great leaflet with local walks around the town - fun to explore, even though we couldn't find the 'wishing stones'!

We had a lovely stay at Mary’s apartment, after a 13 hour drive all we wanted to do was chill out as we only had 2 days to view a house, the thoughtful little touches all over the apartment made us feel very welcome and was very much appreciated. The host Caroline is very knowledgeable of the area and very helpful, we would highly recommend a visit.

Rothes is a very quiet town.

Rothes is a very quiet town. There are no other restaurants in town. However the hotel restaurant is excellent. There is nothing to do in the town itself, but it is located in the heart of the scotch trail with many distilleries. Too many to visit in fact.
