The house is lovely, lots of space for lots of people and the walled garden with the hot tub was definitely a highlight! The kitchen was well kitted out to cater for larger groups. The owner was very accommodating. It is a very beautiful house and was nice and clean. We had a wonderful time there celebrating!

We stayed for one night with our two dogs and we were so well looked after by the staff at the Tickled Trout Inn. The food was absolutely delicious, we had Sunday lunch and dinner later that evening and the breakfast the next day was gorgeous. The staff were so kind and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Very highly recommended!

Beautifully clean, warm and cozy shepherd's hut in idilic location, just a 25min drive into the centre of York. Plenty of parking Stunning view that I enjoyed while sitting in bed sipping my morning cup of tea. Soft comfortable bed with different pillow thickness. Clean white cotton linen,. Ensuite bathroom with great power in the shower, soft fluffy towels and toiletries if needed. As a lone female traveller I felt safe and secure. Staff I encountered were friendly Top marks and I'll definitely be booking again.

The superking size bed was fabulous and having a small window in the eye sight from the bed that looked out onto fields gave such a relaxing vibe. The apartment was spacious and well thought through! Your staff. As regular hotel guests. From five star opulence to travel lodges. We received the highest level of customer care. Amanda was incredibly helpful and considerate , this lady is absolutely in the right job. The Spa staff again so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Your staff are on a mission to make your guests get the most from their stay at every level. Exceeded our expectations. We will be back that guaranteed. If I was ever to back to Tadcaster.....I'd stay here. Not just because it's the only place on booking.com but it's a super trailer. All I needed was a big dog, pickup and crushed cans of budweisser and I'd be in a road movie. The inside is like the tardis in size rather than modernity. The trailer kept us snug as bug whilst Storm Darren or something raged on outside. The pub is great, friendly staff and locals and good beer. Slept like a log.

Beautiful hotel in a woodland setting with lots of walkways through woods. Open grassland with wonderful views. Very tranquil. Food was delicious but more staff would have been a bonus. A long wait for our food. Although waiting staff very smiley. Not good that lots of food ordered they had run out of. Even broccoli. !!!!!!
