Everything contributed to a lovely experience and an unforgettable holiday. The family room we had was very clean and quiet. The hotel is situated in a lovely small town, with beautiful shops. However, please stay away from the Exmoor Fish And Chips place - they serve their friends, neighbours and loyal customers first, even though you're before them in the queue (we were number 74 and they had served up to number 88 before we finally asked why it was was taking them more than one hour to do 3 chips and one sausage). Our bathroom had two wash basins, which we loved. The hosts at the Lion Hotel were extremely welcoming, warm, and kind, and we felt very grateful for everything. The food at the Lion Hotel restaurant looked and tasted absolutely amazing. The service was excellent as well. We loved both the breakfast and the dinner. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, Ian and Peter. It was lovely to see a successful family-run business and be able to contribute to that. We really hope to come back.

The best B&B we stayed in (and we visited many). Great comfort, nice location, excellent breakfast and very friendly owners who do their very best to make your stay great. We will for sure return when visiting Exmoor again.

Lovely friendly hosts. Beautiful quiet location. Exceptionally clean. Good to use as a base with plenty to do locally. Local pub and Tea room are definitely worth a visit too. Looking forward to returning.

Mop’s delightful B&B has huge quirky charm. Mop has furnished it in cheerful pastels and her love of the surrounding countryside and wildlife expresses itself in numerous touches. The kitchenette, separate from the bedroom, has everything you could possibly need for a continental breakfast. This includes good quality wholemeal bread and much more. There is plenty of information about local sites and walks. Communication was good at all times. Mop was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The bed was comfortable, and there was a discrete space for me to park up my bike. Very many thanks, Mop.
