It is hard to put into words, but my stay at Veli Guest House exceeded all my expectations. Vakho and family have created such a friendly, open, welcoming atmosphere, in a beautiful home, surrounded by a gorgeous farm and garden they have cultivated themselves. The breakfasts and dinners are incredible, and they put such care into the details of the stay and your comfort as a guest. I also partook in the local wool artisan tour that they offer, which was an amazing, hands-on experience that I would recommend to anyone. They also helped me coordinate complicated logistics as I traveled to and from Tusheti, really going above and beyond with their responsiveness and kindness. I felt very comfortable staying at the Veli Guest House as a solo traveler, almost as if I was a part of their family. I will definitely be staying again.

Very nice place, for sure the best in Georgia . The owner is really kind and helpful with all things needed. As well the service is perfect, houses are clean . Nice pool , nice room for spending free time!

The family was extremely friendly & accommodating. Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Gogi's Paradise Guesthouse. The house is an oasis of comfort, with cozy rooms. A wonderful place to stay. The host (Ia) is lovely and very attentive to her guests' needs. We immediately felt 'at home' via a Turkish coffee and a very pleasant chat, whilst admiring the view of the Caucasus' and a magnificent rose from Ia's flower garden - also bursting with grapes, persimmon, pomegranate, strawberries, tomatoes, quince - and chickens! The home-cooked meal was authentic and truly yummy, as was our homestay-arranged visit to a nearby small winery in Akhmeta. You get the picture. This is a wonderful place to stay. Thank you dear Ia.
