Very clean room, 4 beds in family suit room, perfect for us (with two kids). Rich breakfast and dinner with high quality foods, the hostess even brought biscuits for kids during breakfas, kids enjoyed it very much. The hostess is warm hearted with hospitality, our daughter loves her and play with her a lot.

Welcoming house with a beautiful garden and a porch where you can relax. The owner is caring, warming, and really hard working. The food was delicious, and she was so nice to prepare us a lunch box for the next morning (we left very early). Just go there, you won't regret it!

Dodo is a wonderful older lady who owns the house with her husband. She’s making wonderful dinner and breakfast and Zhabeshi is the last village in The Valley with a beautiful view to the mountain. The place can host a lot of people, so as it usual for region, you’ll have thin walls and a typical simple equipped bathroom.

Everything about my stay here was excellent. I would rank it as the best guesthouse during my stay in Georgia so far. First, it was very clean and comfortable. Second, the food was fantastic, and the portions were very generous. Third, the views from the balcony were stunning. Last but not least, the host was kind and provided amazing service. All in all, this place is great, and it provides tremendous value for money.

Zhabeshi is the first overnight stop on the most common...

Zhabeshi is the first overnight stop on the most common route taken by hikers walking the iconic Mestia-to-Ushguli hike. (There are alternative routes that bypass Zhabeshi.) The village is located in an exquisite valley just below the confluence of the Tviberi and Tsaneri Rivers, nestled under the slopes of Tetnuldi and Banguriani peaks in the Greater Caucasus Range. If you're into mountain environments and ancient villages steeped in history, it doesn't get much better than this.

with the concrete road to Mestia in place (20 minutes of driving), there is no real need to stay in Zhabeshi any more if you have your own car: Mestia has much more guesthouses to choose from and offers shops, nice restaurants, ATM's, ... which you don't find in Zhabesi at all; only if you want to experience solitude, rural live and stay in a family guesthouse , you can still enjoy Zhabeshi
