Location was beautiful, waves come right up to the cafe at high tide. When it is a bit lower you can walk across the beach to other restaurants and surf schools. Staff couldn't be more helpful and went out of their way for us. Would certainly recommend staying here when in Busua.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Joy Beach Lodge located along Beach Road in Takoradi, and I must say it was an enjoyable experience. The breeze from the sea combined with the cool air conditioning made for a relaxing atmosphere. The lodge’s location right by the beach is definitely one of its highlights, offering easy access to the sand and surf whenever you want to take a walk or just enjoy the views. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring I felt comfortable throughout my stay. Whether it was for information on local attractions or assisting with any needs, they were always ready to help. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi could have been a bit stronger in some areas, but overall, my experience was positive. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with a fantastic view of the ocean, Joy Beach Lodge is a solid choice. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Takoradi!
