We had the best experience at The syntopia, blown away about the service, soooo good food, drinks, room and hospitality. The Syntopia is really the hotel to go to if you want a relaxing and luxury experience. Big thanks to Michael in the reception for taking such good care of us and made us keep our room full day for our late departure, really recommend to take the all inclusive part, then you will have the big range of drinks during the full day and the food was way over all our expecations. Also Harah from the pool service who always had a smile on her face and kept us hydrated by the pool every day. Rooms are also very high designed with inspiring interior. Highly recommend to book this hotel, we will defintely come back! Thank you, Frida & Olof

The room spacious with fantastic views over the sea , gardens and pool area. Breakfast was awesome with plenty of choices and so was lunch. Staff were friendly and helpful and the whole hotel looked grand and very clean with plenty of facilities to keep you occupied.

We loved the hospitality of the people and the chats and how welcoming they made as feel! Will defo recommend this place as if you wan to explore Crete it’s in the middle of everything and if you rent a car it’s so accessible to do so!!! Also the hotel it’s close to the beach so that was a great highlight for us :) Also the food has really good options as well!!!

Our main. reason for visiting the area was because we were attending a wedding. I did find that Adelianos Kampos was located near to a lot of pick ups for tours around Crete to allow you to experience other areas around the island. Many places to eat around the area, but none that really stuck out for me that I would recommend. Just walk around the area because there is much to choose from.

There’s nothing to really see in Adelianos Kampos like most...

There’s nothing to really see in Adelianos Kampos like most of Crete. It’s all about the Cretan hospitality, resort you’re staying at and the beach. As for the taverna’s, there are lots of places to eat, but it’s probably wise to get a recommendation from your hotel.

Our favourite place to have ann ice cream was at Giancomos, for dinner I highly recommend Yiannis Taverna and Vergina 2 Taverna and Pizza at Mafioso. To trave around you only need to buy bus tickets from shops and bus is every half an hour. I recommend to go with Klavos agency in excursions, are affordable and you can see many places.

Nice area, exactly half way between both airports. Not many restaurants in walking distance but a short 10-15 min cab journey gives you some great restaurants. Cavo, Prima Plora and 7 Thalasyes were our favourites

Adelianos Kambos is an easy place to get around being mostly one long street with tavernas, bars, cafes, supermarkets and other shops, together with hotels and apartment blocks. We especially liked Ellinikon traditional taverna which was on the opposite side of the road from Yiannis Apartments where we stayed. Also Sirocco cafe/bar/restaurant situated on the beach itself, surprisingly good for a beach place.

It is a very nice area that is along the sea.

It is a very nice area that is along the sea. There are shops, supermarkets and restaurant every few meters. It is really area made for tourists so everything is designed to make the stay of tourists as pleasant as possible. Prices to attractions seems to be standardize as well as taxis. You know what you will pay and you will get. People are really friendly and will try very hard to help you. In general, they have pride producing good products or providing good services. I would recommend renting a car as the bus and even the organized expeditions does not bring to every beauty of the island. The bus is quite expensive compared to Central Europe 1.2 Euro a simple ticket to the next city and 7 euros to Heraklion. The area is well situated as it is along the main road that joins every part of the island.
