Great rooms, excellent views and an extremely hospitable host sums up our stay here. The hotel itself is at a height with views of the Prespa lake and the village from the very large balcony adjoining the room. The room itself is very large with a large bathroom with high quality amenities. There is a provision for tea and coffee in the room with a small restaurant for breakfast and coffee above a flight of stairs. We arrived to a warm welcome by the host and greeted with hot coffee. Cookies just out of the oven were served free. Breakfast was prepared by the hostess’ mom and it was very elaborate, freshly made and delicious. We were not aware of this and had requested an early breakfast at 6.30 am and felt a bit bad about waking her up so early. However she was all smiles and spoke to us about India in Greek through her interpreter (daughter). They invited our guide for breakfast though he was staying somewhere else. There is a restaurant in the village about 5-7 mins walk from the property that’s very lively and serves great food.

The owners provided a superb BBQ meal as most of the tavernas nearby were closed. Being at high altitude and for the time of year the evenings were cold, but the room was piping hot & cosy. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful to plan out walks/treks.

The hotel was very nicely decorated had a lovely elegance about it. The moment I walked in I felt very welcomed by the lady at reception desk called Menia, she was extremely helpful and polite.The lobby areas and dining was very impressive and felt very spacious. My room was very clean and smelt like new, everything was perfect, the balcony was a good size and had amazing views of the town below and side of the mountain. Beds and pillows where comfortable and smelt really nice. I wanted an iron and ironing board, reception staff came within 2 mins and the maid offered to help with the ironing! The breakfast selection was great, had everything you can imagine but what was great was the homemade spanakopita, tiropita and bougatsa, made by Nana who was extremely helpful and polite. Overall I was impressed with my stay at Emerald Suites and would definitely stay again.

We stayed here in the recommendation of a friend and were not disappointed. Wonderful location away from the centre of town. Nice and quiet. Staff were extremely helpful. Room was large and breakfast was plentiful. In fact we returned twice more during our stay in Greece to use the resort as a base. Great views of the mountains. Thank you Vera, Maria & Giorgi you have a wonderful resort.

The hotel is a bit outdated, but the most important thing for me is that it is very clean and regularly maintained. The beds are comfortable and the staff is super helpful ,polite and kind. I stayed in the hotel with my 10-year-old son (it's a well-known thing what children are like at that age ), but the staff always helped me and satisfied our requests. The location is good ,the price is very correct and on my next visit to Florina I have no hesitation at all to stay at this hotel again.
