Svetliraj is truly a magical retreat, offering a soul-nourishing experience from start to finish. Nestled in the heart of nature, it’s the perfect place to recharge both your mind and soul. From the moment we arrived, we could feel the positive energy all around. The Hosts, Bozo and Stefan are two of the kindest, most genuine human beings we’ve ever met, their warmth and hospitality made us feel instantly at home, as if we were visiting old friends rather than meeting for the first time. They have a beautiful way of blending spirituality, nature, and hospitality into something magical that you can feel in every moment spent here. The property itself feels like a sanctuary. Surrounded by rolling green hills, it offers breathtaking sunsets, the kind that make you pause and savour the moment. They grow their own fresh vegetables, which adds to the wholesome and authentic feel of the stay. The connection to the land is palpable, making every moment feel like a gift. Adding to the charm, you’ll find three joyful border collies, a majestic horse named Freya, and two sweet cats. These animals create a sense of harmony between humans, nature, and the animals around you, making every day extra special. Whether you’re relaxing in the peaceful surroundings, connecting with the animals, or enjoying produce straight from the garden, this place is pure bliss. The views are spectacular and soul-resting, the kind of scenery that makes you breathe a little deeper and smile without realizing it. During our time in Croatia, Svetliraj was by far the best accommodation we stayed in. Leaving was the hardest part, as we’re already missing it. We will absolutely be returning. If you’re looking for a stay that combines nature, warmth, spirituality, and unforgettable hospitality, this is the place for you. Thank you, Bozo and Stefan, for the truly unforgettable experience. We stayed at the hotel for the second time. The hotel is very comfortable and pleasant. A great thing is the jacuzzi in the room with thermal water, so we used the wellness only to a limited extent if you have a private one. I recommend accommodation with half board - the choice of dishes at dinner is impressive, dishes always made from seasonal ingredients, interesting and imaginative in the format of fine dining but with large enough portions to fill you up. The breakfasts are also generous and varied. Also interesting is the offer of the wellness center in the form of massages and other activities, which are not a problem to order on the spot and the prices do not differ much from the regular prices in the city. Parking is possible directly at the hotel (although with the fact that there are blocked places for charging electric cars and, of course, also for the disabled, it is likely that it will be a bit difficult to find a parking place during a busy period, and given the location of the hotel on a hill, I would probably not want to deal with alternative options down in small town)

The apartment was very clean and comfortably equipped. Before arrival, we received all the check-in instructions on our phone, and everything went very smoothly and quickly. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with water and some treats, which was a lovely touch. There is a large terrace where we could relax and enjoy the evening. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and we felt very comfortable. There’s not much to see around but apartment is great

Great spot if you are coming from or going to Zagreb. It was the last night of our trip so having a whole apartment and ability to park near the door to get organised was great. Owner was there and check in was no issue at all. Wifi was good, the apartment was clean with everything you could want for cooking. Excellent all around.
