The hotel is set on the hill in the beautiful town of Buzet - a truly stunning location. Our room was really lovely. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We made use of the free swimming pool (so refreshing after a day out in the sun) and ate dinner both nights at the hotel’s restaurant. The food was delicious!

We really enjoyed our stay at Agroturizam Stara Stala. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a quiet, relaxing break. The real standout was the breakfast, honestly the best we’ve had in Croatia. Everything was homemade and fresh, and you could tell a lot of care went into it. Everything was great. Room was tidy, beds were comfortable, bathroom and shower quite new, good quality. Had parking space near the entrance. Free coffee and coffee machine in the appartment. Good stay on our route.

Exceptionally comfortable room with all possible facilities one can imagine. Quite and comfortable house with gorgeous mount view. Very nice and friendly host ! Excellent strategic location, although it is not close to the sea coast. However, it was our intended choice to stay at this place because it was pretty convenient to reach all beach regions around Istria by car. No more than 40-50 minutes to all main tourist places - Pula, Opatia, Umaq, Medveja, Rijeka, Rovinj etc..,

You can see all of Hum in half a day, but it was so...

You can see all of Hum in half a day, but it was so wonderful to stay overnight after the tourists had left. Don’t miss the museum, it was one of the most creative ones we saw in Croatia. Simply beautiful place.

Hum is a great spot to base yourself to explore the Istrian...

Hum is a great spot to base yourself to explore the Istrian peninsula, give yourself time. Hum is a fascinating little town - two streets, two churches, one with 13 century frescos. Humska konoba is a great spot to eat, delicious food, hearty servings and a wonderful view.

I hope Hum can be as authentic as it is now.

I hope Hum can be as authentic as it is now. There is only 1 restaurant, with people in it, who are so passionate about the food they can bring. It is not what we Belgians are used to eat, but it is the old Istrian cuisine. Here we got what we were looking for! it was just amazing simplicity! LOVE IT
