The accommodations were exceptional. The location was superb, just a five-minute walk from the historic wall. The apartment itself was new, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated. Communication with the owner was seamless, and their assistance was greatly appreciated. Following a sunny day, we experienced a full day of rain, and the highly efficient heating system proved invaluable for drying clothes and ensuring our comfort within the cozy space. This is an outstanding property for a visit to Ston.

The villa was clean, comfortable and nicely spaced out. The owners are lovely, extremely friendly and welcoming. We were invited to have aperitivo at Dario's and Violetta's house which is right underneath in their lovely garden. Very pleasant! The beach is less than a minute's walk and is practically private, we were the only ones there! We would like to go back, who knows!!

It’s a super cute apartment, very big. Terrace is super nice and big with a view on sea. There is oyster and mussels farm 2 min walk from apartment. Very peaceful and only 10 min drive from Ston. Owner is super nice. Very clean apartment.

The vacation was outstanding! The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. We were particularly delighted by the spacious terrace with a beautiful sea view, perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee or enjoying the sunset in the evening. The location of the apartment is perfect. The owners were extremely kind and helpful. Very nice house in a garden with a beautiful terrace on top and a beautiful view over the city. Both, city and nature are very near and it has despite its size all you need: kitchen, bedroom, bath-and living room! Very welcoming owners and a quiet location inside the city walls.

We loved Ston!

We loved Ston! The little town and the wall walk were awesome. We loved our location and the restaurant was delicious! Our room was very good. All the people in the town that we met were wonderful and many people helped us out when our car broke down. We had a great time!

Ston was an interesting place to break up the trip from...

Ston was an interesting place to break up the trip from Split to Dubrovnick. It was a disappointment as far as the oysters were concerned, being the oyster center for Croatia. They were just extremely expensive and there were no deals to enjoy them at a decent price. If we had more time we would have gone to an island instead...

We really enjoyed our time in Ston, it is nice and small, yet full of amazing history and things to do. The hike up the wall of Ston to Mali Ston was great and not too difficult. Beautiful sights from the top!

I incorrectly mentioned that it was an old Bari, when, in fact, I meant mali Ston was in a nice quiet section of mali ston definitely would visit again, and Marita was an amazing hostess, couldn’t say enough about her and the accommodations excellent

Historic town with impressive (and impressively long) walls.

Historic town with impressive (and impressively long) walls. Ston is a much smaller, calmer, quieter, and more authentic version of many of the overly touristy walled old towns along the coast. Large sections are still not renovated however. The town has a few shops but mostly cafes/restaurants and locals housing. Lacks the luxury shops and glitz of Dubrovnik but also the crowds. A bit overpriced to walk the walls but presumably the entry fee helps with further repairs and restoration. The (still) working salt flats are interesting and they have opportunities to join in the harvesting. The city parking lots outside the walls are all paid which seems shortsighted and silly if they really want to bring in tourism.

history, great local wine and food, clear blue sea and no crowds; vacation as it should be :) the area is famous for oysters and mussels and many restaurants serve them from their own farms; not to be missed; the hike over the city walls (connecting Ston and Mali Ston) offers great views over the area, oyster farms, salt panes and isles...on both sides of the wall hike are very nice restaurants offer freshest sea food and light, local wine - just what you need on a hot day

We should have stayed here longer! The owner was so welcoming and everything we needed for our stay was provided. Best bed we’ve slept in over our six weeks of traveling! The apartment is well appointed and super clean. There’s even a little beach just at the front of the property. Ston is just a short drive and there is so much to see.

Villa Sol was extremely well located. close to everything. The host was friendly and incredibly helpful. The room was extremely spacious and clean. A lovely outside area was very welcome. A delicious breakfast was brought to our room. whatever you need you will find in this little gem. i highly recommend this place in Ston

Loved the quiet location, so close to the water. The verandah out the front was a little bit of heaven watching the world go by and saying hello to neighbours. The airconditioning was exceptional. The kitchen was well stocked, good barbeque. Close proximity to Ston. Parking right outside.
