New hotel, very clean, well designed. In a good position, if you’re planning an event at the MVM Dome, but also near to the Metro, so it's very convenient for many other options if sightseeing. Compact rooms, but very comfortable beds and a perfect shower.

The hotel is really luxury. The breakfast was very rich and healthy. Whole hotel is very clean. The location was good for us because we prefer to wandering around by foot. It's close to hero's square, Terror musem and New York cafe as well as Sculpture of the boys of the Paul Street. Byw our return ticket from Kelenfold station. It looks far away from the hotel but M4 underground made it easy way. Through Keleti palyaudvar, you would reach directly to Kelenfold even only one transportation.

FAQs about hotels in Budapest

A City of Two Halves

With a dome reminiscent of Brunelleschi’s "The Duomo" in Florence, the Hungarian parliament building is undoubtedly the icon of Budapest. It sits majestically by the Danube, the river that both divides and unifies the 2 parts of this capital city: Buda and Pest.

Overseeing Budapest from its vantage point on Castle Hill is Buda Castle. Spectacularly lit at night, it offers the best views across this attractive city steeped in World Heritage. Some unique points of interest are Heroes Square and the Museum of Terror, reminders of the city’s more turbulent past.

Much like in Vienna further up the Danube, coffee and cake is practically an institution in Budapest. And there’s nowhere better to try this than Gerbeaud - the elaborate décor alone makes this café well worth a visit.

To really feel like a local, make a trip to the thermal baths. The relaxed Gellért Baths are a triumph of Art Nouveau grandeur, while based on their sheer size, you can't miss the outdoor Széchenyi Baths. If unusual nightlife is your thing, the club nights at these baths are great fun.

With an impressive range of Budapest hotels, apartments and hostels on offer in this city of 2 halves, Booking.com makes your choice completely easy.

I love Budapest from the first time a stepped foot in it.

I love Budapest from the first time a stepped foot in it. A beautiful city with so much to offer visitors of all kind. From the architecture, street facades, buildings, cafes, restaurants, markets and shops, Ruin bars, thermal spas, historical builds, parliament building.... the list goes on, and of course the life and soul of the City the Danube River. What more can you ask for?. the citizen's of Budapest are so friendly and welcoming. I will continue to recommend Budapest as a holiday destination - outstanding.

Discover Budapest: A City Full of Charm and History

Discover Budapest: A City Full of Charm and History Budapest is a beautiful and welcoming city that’s easy to explore. Most of the main attractions can be reached on foot, but the public transportation system is excellent—well-organized, affordable, and convenient. You’ll also find food and drink options practically everywhere, so you’ll never go hungry while sightseeing. Must-See Highlights: - Buda Side: Don’t miss the historic Buda district with its stunning Castle, the picturesque Fisherman’s Bastion, and the breathtaking interior of Matthias Church. - Danube Promenade & Parliament: A walk along the Danube is a must, offering spectacular views of the iconic Parliament building. If time allows, take a guided tour inside—it’s absolutely worth it. - Jewish Quarter: This area is full of history and character. Be sure to visit the Dohány Street Synagogue, the second largest in the world and the largest in Europe. City Center Gems: - St. Stephen’s Basilica: A magnificent landmark in the heart of the city. - Great Market Hall: Perfect for tasting local delicacies and picking up authentic Hungarian products. - Heroes’ Square: A truly impressive square that reflects Hungary’s rich history.

Whatever you go to see, you won't regret.

Whatever you go to see, you won't regret. Budapest is very beautiful town with perfect food and places for sight seeing. It is a bit more expensive, I would say equal to most expensive European town, but it is worth paying.

Beautiful city. Lots to see.

Beautiful city. Lots to see. We missed the Parliament Tour unfortunately. You need to book well in advance. Highlights were Matthias Church (exquisitely beautiful), the New York Café is the one old café you should visit - well worth queuing. The Great Synagogue is interesting but pricey and the National Art Gallery is amazing. The Big Bus tour is good for getting your bearings. However, Budapest is expensive including restaurants so be prepared for that.

I was there for about 10 days, which was more than enough time for the main spots, but not enough time after falling in love with it. Things I'd recommend: - Walking tours - I did a general one on day one that was a perfect kickoff for the trip, followed by a couple alternative ones near the end that our a nice bow on everything. Both of the tours offered by ET (https://etthetourguide.com) were highlights. - River cruise at night. It's on pretty much every list for a reason. - The places on every list of recommended spots to visit, like St. Stephen's Basilica, the Castle District (plus the caves underneath), Fisherman's Bastion, ruin bars (via pub crawl), and the baths are all worth it. Finally, getting around is extraordinarily easy. The city's transit system is phenomenal, and between tapping your card and the BudapestGO app, you should not need a car to get anywhere you can't simply walk to.

Hungary is a very specific and special gem.

Hungary is a very specific and special gem. People are weirdly nice and good-hearted. It is almost too hard to understand them! There is a lot to see and visit. And if you immerse yourself in that culture and history, you might just learn about the most beautiful stories and legends. Public transportation is old-fashioned but really well-connected. Buses and trams stretch all over this beautiful city. The prices are fair and much cheaper than elsewhere. Food is good. The best practice is to always ask a local where to buy what. They might know the best prices! Beware of price differences: maybe you want to eat in the more fashionable city center, and that is fine. But when a Kürtöskalács costs here 10 pounds, you can easily find another stand within a 2-minute walk of distance and pay 6 pounds. Also, there are loads of great restaurants which offer a daily menu ("Napi menü"). And here comes the most amazing part: even Michelin-starred chefs have restaurants like that! TEXTURA offers a daily one for 28 euros (entrée - plat - dessert). I tried it, and the food was breathtaking! I am not saying people don't have problems in Hungary. This is not a very rich place, but Budapest is interesting, livable and in a seemingly cold man's chest you might just find the warmest heart! Go and visit it!

The location is perfect- walking distance to the city centre, near to 2 metro stations & a tram station (from different directions), it’s a peaceful area even though it’s located somewhere around the heart of pest, Budapest. The room is comfortable & spacious for a family of three. Everything is clean including the bathroom. The service is really good & helpful. There are no convenient supermarkets nearby to go to at night (to buy water) but the restaurant next to the hotel lets us buy bottle of water from them.

This small apartment has everything you need for your stay in Budapest. The location is great with busses conneiing to the city centre just a short walk away. One of the best public baths with thermal springs is also really close. The apartment itself is super clean and the bed is very comfy. Check-in and out is super easy. The host is super nice, arranged for an early check-in and was overall super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic hotel. The rooms are huge, and brilliantly decorated. Hotel is centrally located, and although city centre in the busy Pest side of the city, the windows were quad insulated - no noise whatsoever. Staff were excellent, and overly helpful. Genuinely fantastic hotel. I will return to this hotel when I return to Budapest in the future for work or holidays.
