I had a truly wonderful time. The family is absolutely lovely, warm, kind, and always willing to help. I had a wonderful stay at Bamboo Craft Homestay! Raja is a very welcoming host who truly enjoys sharing his knowledge of the area — he took me to visit some beautiful local spots and traditional craft workshops. We also cooked a traditional meal together, which was a really nice experience. The accommodation is charming and comfortable, nestled among rice fields and native plants, offering a peaceful and authentic atmosphere. I also highly recommend stopping by to try the food — it’s delicious!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The surroundings were so peaceful and beautiful, with relaxing nature and a lovely riverside view. The host family was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home and treating us like part of their own family. We had booked for 2 nights but loved it so much that we extended our stay by another day. Highly, highly recommend this place — we would definitely love to visit again!

The building is a marvellous traditional wooden building. The staff are wonderful. Beds huge and super comfortable. They have a gymnasium! They have lovely garden and great rice paddy views. The food was traditional Indonesian food and was excellent. Air con was great. Rooms are huge. The place is a real hidden little gem.

We had a truly incredible three days at the villa and with Abdi, who was there for us throughout our stay. The villa is beautiful, with a lovely view of Mount Rinjani if ​​you wake up early in the morning, as well as direct access to the rice fields. Everything is super clean and well-appointed. Zi is an incredible host. Stay here for an authentic homestay. Zi made me dinner and then took me to the local market the next morning to get ingredients for a traditional breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Staff were really friendly and welcoming they made sure I had everything I need for my stay. The owner also gave me opportunities to meet his friends and family and also to teach at a local school which was a great experience. I would highly recommend muni’s bungalows( one in masbagik or lendang belo) for both family and solo travellers. His English was very good which made the stay even more nice, he offered me tea and coffee everytime I saw him, which went well with his delicious breakfast.
