When we checked in, the cottage was very welcoming and warm despite a power cut earlier in the day. Cottage is very clean and literaly you have everything you need. Short distance from Kilkenny and easy to find with direct access from the main road. Comunication with the owner was great and we appreciated that even if them could not meet us at check in, them phoned later in the evening to make sure that there are no more issues with the power and that we checked in ok. The cottage view is a bonus on a sunny day :). The area is also very quiet. I will highly recommend this accomodation!!!

We had the most fun and amazing stay at Matty's Pub Apartments and would totally recommend staying there. You would never meet a more friendlier bunch of local folk or a more welcoming and laid back host. It was made quite clear from the start that meals were not part of the package but were available if required close by.Matty certainly made our time in Royaloak very special.
