Typical Irish hospitality, we pull into the large parking area to the owner actively hanging laundry to dry who stopped everything to welcome us, but last name no less (it's a small B&B and we were 4 of the rooms, but it was still a nice touch)! The rooms were ready, clean, and comfortable. The private bathrooms were a huge plus, too! The breakfast was phenomenal, I've had some Irish breakfasts that were less than par, but this one was certainly a true "Irish Breakfast." Overall would stay again and recommend to others!

We had lovely stay at Hillhead House🥰 Definitely that was our best stay and we loved Donegal and Ardara so much that we will come back for sure!😊 And those amazing breakfasts by Irene…🤤😍 Special porriges with lots of fruit, cinammon, coffee, orange juice and love by Irene. The property is in an ideal location in Ardara, just off the Main Street so everything is close by. The property is also well equipped with all essentials such as tea, coffee sugar etc which was a really nice touch. The apartment is beautifully decorated and would recommend. Catherine and her family where so friendly and welcoming,the cottage was very homely and comfortable . cottage was within walking distance to town.Had car troubles on way home and Catherine and her dad went out of their way to help us, excellent hosts.would definitely recommend and will be back again 10/10.

Such a charming cottage in the country that really did have everything you needed . The little touch of fresh milk eggs butter was most welcome after a long trip . The cottage was spotless and surprisingly bigger than it looks . Such a peaceful area to sit and recharge in the evening. And Sandra an exceptional host I'd come back alone just for her . Views are breathtaking, scenery what soul needs , visit the beach 12 mins away

The owners were polite helpful but not over intrusive but forfilled every thing expected in a well run b and b and we would stay again. The Station House was very clean, comfortable and cosy. The only thing that our host said she couldn't fix was the weather!

Location is just perfect to discover the beauties of Donegal county: all the touristic spots are on reach from the venue. The hosts are super nice and extremely welcoming: they make you feel comfortable in any possible way. I would definitely take the guest house in considerations for future trips in the north and recommend it to friends and family. simply amazing!

Lovely and cosy b&b right on the main street in Glenties, perfect location for exploring the area and close to restaurants to get a nice bite to eat. Very comfortable and clean room. And delicious cooked breakfast plus cereal and fruit in morning. Overall very happy with my stay!
