This hotel was ridiculously good. It boggles the mind that such a hotel exists in Mumbai. The luxury thrown at us in every aspect left us speechless and I say this without a shred of exaggeration. Bhumi at the front desk was brilliant, catered to our suite upgrades. The restaurant is huge with 5 different zones for various cuisines. The room amenities, size and cleanliness were top notch.

We enjoyed a few local tours while we were in Mumbai including Elephanta Island. It was a nice break from the city and well worth the couple hours to visit. The farther north the busier and more crowded it became, The Colaba area is nice but the shopping is more toward the western styles. The more traditional Indian items are more north. Getting around Mumbai is easiest via Uber. Taxis are also easy to locate but we always needed to call in advance to make arrangements. Be patient, traffic can be busy and congested. The people make the visit the best.

We liked the resilience of the people surrounded by incredible poverty with little or no facilities having to endure life in a very highly polluted area of the world. We will never recommend any of our family members or friends to visit.

Good and Bad.

Good and Bad. Wealth and poverty clearly evident but we only had one night at the hotel on our way home. Initially stayed further south when we arrived and were booked there for our last night by the travel agent which made no sense so booked this hotel via Booking.com and a great move on our part only 15mins from the airport.

I grew up in Mumbai. Lots of fond memories. Great city with great work culture, nice shopping, restaurants, reasonable weather. Infrastructure is a dampener but the Mumbai spirit is helpful, indomitable and never gives up. My favourite place in Mumbai is Bandra. It has glamour, the sea, lovely quaint Christian bungalows that builders have always been trying to acquire, lovely eating and drinking places, great bookshops, a super cool attitude and a generally friendly and helpful public.

The people are wonderful - if you want to feel like royalty, go to Mumbai! It's easy to get taxis at reasonable prices and everything is great value when compared to how much we pay for things in England.

This is a great value 5 star hotel. Everything is customer focused; from the ambience on arrival to every single member of staff greeting you as you walk by so politely. It's evident that the staff have pride to work at the hotel. The room was very comfortable with a large soft bed and everything was changed on a daily basis. We had a great breakfast buffet and spent a number of hours at the pool. It was a fantastic stay in a great central location. However be prepared for high bar and restaurant prices to go with the 5 star service.

The seaside position and central location on Marine Drive is the main reason to stay here. need a Seaview room to take advantage of the views. Otherwise the hotel is "Okay" - 4 star not 5 star. Decor and condition of fittings is dated and worn in some places. beds are only Queen size. Internet is limited to 2 devices otherwise have to pay extra. Overall it is a reasonable option but do not expect perfection. Staff in breakfast restaurant very attentive (Priyal).

Excellent cheap and cheerful hotel in central Mumbai. Very near Grant Road station so easy to get the train south to the Gateway area or north to Bandra. It's not a touristy area but in a sense that adds to it! Real Mumbai. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly, and the free breakfast basic but effective. Shower had hot water and AC worked.
