The room was spacious, comfortable and clean The option to have dinner at the property was hugely appreciated Communication with the hosts was excellent (totally fluent English speakers) The gardens are beautiful, and shady and cool in the heat of the day The location is very handy for arrival in the city, and also exploring around When I was looking for accommodation options, this place came up and I saw in the reviews that everyone was raving about the hosts being so wonderful. I was just looking for a room, not to make new friends, but their rooms seemed the nicest, so I booked. And I can confirm that this place is a true 10/10, the welcome and warmth of the hosts was amazing, never obtrusive, and in the end, though the property is amazing, their goodness of heart was the highlight of my stay. (Also, if you’re interested in history, archaeology, or geology- let them know! 😉)
