Guesthouse Hvitafell was super clean, I loved it. The hot tub overlooking the valley was excellent and the bed was a 10. The kitchen has all you need, with tea and coffee complementary. All in all just an excellent place to stay in Laugar.

Nice modern place, in a peaceful farm. Great location for many activities between myvatn, husavik and akureyri. Kitchen and room are well equipped and maintained, with all needed for staying comfortably few days, for cooking and laundry. Also host is great.

I don't know where to begin. Hospitality is Abba's middlename. Just meeting her made us immediately feel at home. Two lovely dogs welcomed us as well. Very relaxed atmosphere. The room was very comfortable and cozy. Very good mattress, lots of amenities in the bathroom. All day coffee, tea, cookies, chocolate candies. There is a kitchen where you can warm up your food or even prepare dinner. Different kind of oils (avocado, garlic) were available. Also free laundry service. Regarding breakfast we were so much impressed that Abba went into trouble to make vegan waffles and orange/chocolate cake for us. Also a very tasty rice with peas for us. There were also juice, fruits, various kinds of coffee, salmon, eggs, cheese etc. for omnivores. We loved the different kind of beautiful china we could use. I'm sure I forget something but I think you get the idea.

One of the best accommodations we had on Iceland. Everything was perfect, nice hosts who baked homemade treats for us. The house was the biggest one we had all of the time on our Iceland vacation. Totally recommend this place for accommodation 11/10.

The owner is very helpful and friendly. We were stuck because of the snow storm and found this guesthouse nearby, and the owners provide some soup for us. They where travelling back from their event for us so we are very grateful
