When I saw photos I didn’t expect it will be the same as in life. IT IS BETTER THAN ON PHOTOS. Omg, the location is breathtaking. You just see from your room window one of the main destinations in Iceland. The staff is really friendly. And the breakfast is amazing. The room is beautiful and big. But the bathroom is just mind blowing.

If your main goal to see the northern lights, this is the best place you can imagine. The sky is dark, no sources of light pollution around, mountains aside are not tall, so you see the sky from left to right without obstacles. We had chance to see beautiful northern lights, and it was awesome. Just use one of two large spaces on the road that lead to the hotel, there are the darkest spots for observing. Hotel is very clean and soundproof. Good breakfast.

Location was excellent, right across from the popular Godafoss waterfalls! Price of $265 was not bad for a last minute booking a few hours earlier for a triple bed room. Staff was excellent and kind! I'd recommend booking this hotel for anybody looking to stay around this area.

This is a great bed and breakfast style hotel. It is located on a farm down a dirt road, but was easy to find even at night. Self check in and check out meant that we didn't interact with any of the staff at all. Breakfast was good and the facilities overall were excellent.

Lovely room and breakfast! Location is perfect, very close to Godafoss. The host is very friendly too 🙂 (we were also lucky and saw the northern lights on our first night here! Amazing!)
