The property is beautiful, new and clean. Great location. We had a mix up with the location, Apple Maps took us close to hella which is an hour away. It turned out to be an issue more with Apple. I contacted the host within minutes he sent a pin with coordinates and also messaged a few times to make sure we got there safe. Really turned things around. Would recommend coordinates on the page.

What a wonderful, lovely place! Beautiful traditional house, great and helpful staff, comfy beds. It’s clean and functional and you have everything you need. Great atmosphere. Thermal bath basically next door. We managed to see the northern lights the night we got there after driving out a bit with the car as the receptionists recommended. We loved our time there and wished we could stay longer! Thank you.

This hotel is charming. When you are in the restaurant having dinner or breakfast (all homemade and extremely good), it is as if you were in 1890. Because of the decoration, of course. The staff is very friendly, the beds are very comfortable and the outdoor hot pot is wonderful.

I have driven through on numerous occasions but never...

I have driven through on numerous occasions but never stopped. I was pleasantly surprised by the place. Lovely view of the lake adequate local facilities close by and only a half hour drive to Geyser and Gullfoss.

Laugarvatn is in an excellent location between the national...

Laugarvatn is in an excellent location between the national park to the west, and Geysir and Gulfoss Waterfall to the east. It has a beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding hills, a few restaurants, gas, and plenty of lodging.

I'm still thinking about how good the food at the restaurant was. I loved watching the cows from the restaurant windows. Very charming, modern farm located near the Golden Circle in Laugarvatn. We were all very satisfied with the stay, even my mom who usually doesn't like staying at farm hotels. The wooden cabins are really cute and cozy. I also love that they have 3 bed rooms! Besides the restaurant, they offer breakfast and homemade ice cream.

We loved our stay in Laugarvatn! The hotel room was small but very cosy, comfortable and clean and I particularly loved the beautiful bathroom. The hotel has a nice restaurant with a beautiful view over the lake, great breakfast and is super close to one of the geothermal baths.

The hotel was very clean. We liked the shoes off policy. Very peaceful atmosphere, including the library and some nice mellow music. Very friendly and helpful stuff, who tried the best to maintain the positive atmosphere in the guesthouse.
