Our 3 nights at Villa Rêverie were amazing. The rooms were modern, comfortable, well equipped, and the staff are all very helpful and kind. They were there to assist with any questions. On our first night, the hotel manager organised a transfer to their restaurant in Varenna, overlooking Lake Como. Definitely recommend doing this. The rooms were cleaned daily and turned down in the evening. The train station is about a 5 minute walk away which you need to get to for travel between different areas of lake Como, the ferry terminal and restaurants are another 5minute walk from there but all easily accessible. The staff were kind enough to lend us umbrellas as needed given it was raining the whole time. The breakfast was great and the waitress was lovely, she also served us drinks on the balcony overlooking the lake each night before dinner and it was 10/10 service.

Very convenient location, in Bellano, close to all attractions, but less crowded. Hotel right next to the train station, not far from the ferry station and the promenade - great! In addition, very nice owners, smiling, for breakfast they went to the bakery for warm brioche! There is everything in the room, good price-quality ratio

Exceptional location, next to the lake, supermarket, ferry terminal & Rail Station. All within 1-5 minutes! A complimentary Wine bottle & 2 bottles of water greeted us on arrival. Also, a big Smart TV with Netflix, etc. Also, Varenna is a 5 mins boat ride away & Bellagio & Mennagio, only 15-20 mins by boat. Do yourself a favour, stay here and visit Bellagio & Varenna as day trips from here! And the hospitality of Francesca, our host and her Dad, Tiziano, was FABULOUS! He came in his car to pick us up from the Train Station and went out of his way to drop us at our next destination, after 2 days! Excellent Pasta & Pizza place nearby, Che Pasta. We had our best tasting pasta here, in our Italian trip.This is a house you can come back to, again and again!

super convenient location with amazing view of lake como. <5 min walk to boat station which takes you easily to the other towns. manageable walk to train station which goes to milan centrale as well. host was very responsive to our needs before and during the stay as well, giving us advice on transportation and allowing us to leave our baggage after checkout time for our convenience.

It was firstly very beautiful and in a great location. Everything we needed was available and in the apartment. It was very clean and the host service was excellent and always contactable. Giada even picked us up from the station ! The grounds and property itself were very well kept and just so aesthetically pleasing. Views from our apartment were magnificent ! It made our whole trip to Lake Como that much more pleasant and memorable.

The property manager, Claudia, was so attentive. She provided clear and precise instructions for check in and check out, and also ensured we arrived safely. 10/10 for communication. The property was immaculately clean and had a beautiful lake view, complete with a balcony to enjoy this! The kitchen was well resourced, and we appreciated the little extras left for guests like olive oil and treats. It was very spacious and would be perfect for a long term stay in the summer too.

Bellano is one of the smaller towns of Lake Como and has a...

Bellano is one of the smaller towns of Lake Como and has a nice marina and promenade alongside the wharf. It can't be compared with the bigger towns of Bellagio or Menaggio which are more beautiful and scenic. But Bellano is quite nice too with a neat town centre with both indoor and outdoor eating places. It is also less crowded as compared to some of the bigger towns which gives it a laid back ambience. Logistics are however not so great. Ferry frequency for going to other towns is low which means sometime you have to catch a ferry at an inconvenient time. Inside Bellano public transport is practically non existent and taxis are not available for love or money which is perhaps true for other towns of Lake Como as well. There don't seem to be many top class hotels in Bellano. We stayed at the Villa Reverie Boutique hotel which was situated right on the lake side and was about 1 km from the town centre. We liked the hotel and would recommend it strongly despite its high price point for a 3 star hotel.

Bellano is an amazing place to visit.

Bellano is an amazing place to visit. Absolutely beautiful and so easy to get around on the ferry. Restaurants are close by aswell as supermarkets. TBH I could just sit and look out at the amazing views all day long!

Pretty town, not too hilly like some of the villages. Beautiful lake front with wonderful views from various different spots on the lake. Only down side was that, not being one of the major villages, ferries were less frequent than we envisaged and when arriving at a larger village one had to immediately queue for ages for return tickets. So visitors need to allow for this and make sure they know the times and destinations of ferries in advance. We ate in a very pleasant restaurant on the lake front called Cavalla Bianco one night and visited the Orrido gorge which was stunning and with a fascinating history.

I was pleasantly surprised with this little town.

I was pleasantly surprised with this little town. Apart from the waterfront which is pretty and flowery, the little alleys going inside carry a medieval atmosphere with its unpainted corridors streets. The Gorge of Orrido is a must to visit and music to the ears with the rush of the water coming down the surface of the hill. Magic! Also it is a good place to stay to visit the upper side of the lake which is less touristic and still authentic.

Beautiful place, easily accessible by train and ferry. Nicely located for easy access to bigger/more touristy places like Verenna and Bellagio, but away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely restaurants and hotels close by. Would highly recommend using as a base to see Lake Como and as a relaxing stay in itself.

Small town, good choice of restaurants, bars & ice-cream shops. Passenger ferry useful to access main area, not a lot to see - but good for a base to explore rest of Lake Como, as not as busy/ touristy as other larger towns.

Beautifully decorate and furnished. Spacious for 4 people. Only stayed overnight here for a quick lake Como trip whilst visiting Milan. I wish we had stayed longer! The flat is right opposite the Bellano ferry port and you can catch glimpses of the lake from the living room and bathroom. Love the Bellano location- a bit quieter but still accessible by train and ferry. The place has everything you need and is kept spotlessly clean. Could not recommend it more!

Great Place just steps away from Lake Como! The host was very nice and gave us a ride from the Bellano train station and also gave us some tips for restaurants and so. The room was really nice, there was coffee machine and best part - there are free bicycles for the guests. That was great because we could easily go the the Bellano center for breakfast or dinner or to the train stations for just 10 minutes!

We had a great stay at the hotel Meridiana. The room was small, but cosy and clean - with an amazing view. The stuf is super friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome. We also enjoyed the Italian cooking class with Adriano - it became one of the highlights of our trip. I would highly recommend taking that course to anyone interested in good food :)

We were greeted by the lovely owners of the apartment. Parking was a bonus, in a garage. The apartment s well equipped and beautifully decorated. A balcony an all rooms giving a view of Bellano and lake Como. I highly recommend this as a. Restful place to stay.
