The location is absolutely fantastic, just across the road from the public hot springs, which are wonderful for a midnight dip. The Locanda allows access to the thermal pools at the Mercure hotel at the top of the hill, another stunning structure that we enjoyed very much. The rooms are spotless and the building is freshly renovated, looking very smart. Breakfast is amazing with fresh cakes and croissants baked fresh (the apple cake was gorgeous). The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, the kind of people you want to have around when on holiday we had a wonderful stay.

Everything was amazing! Indoor pools are great, perfect for relaxation. Outside area also. Peacefull, calm. Breakfast was perfect, sweet table especially. It was super clean. Wifi super fast. Parking for the car just outside the front door.

The location is in the countryside, where the quiet is only interrupted by birds. It is perfectly relaxing. Breakfast was always great due to the quality of the food. The day before you select what you want. There is a restaurant on the premisses, a la carte or a daily selection from 2 aintipasta, primo and secondi dishes, which never failed to impress, satisfy and fill with joy. The house wine was outstanding. You could also order wine like Brunello, but why when at 5 Euro a 1/2 litre you had heaven. The owners eat what and where you eat, which speaks for itself. They and the staff are all very, very nice people. In 2 days I knew their and all the staff's names, and they mine. Everyone was patient with my limited Italian and took the time to teach me Italian words so we were able to converse within reason. Their recommendations where to go and what to see in the area, plus the map and list of places with travel times by car they provide, was super helpful, and made my stay all the more rewarding. This is a place I hope to return to stay, eat and enjoy because of the location, the food and the people working there. Furthermore, this place is 45 minutes by car from the Terme di Petriolo, which are easily accessible free hot springs, where your car, you and your things left on the rocks are perfectly safe.

Very comfortable. Kind owner and great hospitality. Good breakfast, good coffee and very friendly. Took his time to help us and gave tips in the surrounding area (we went to a creek with a waterfall, would recommend as well). We slept great, it’s a quiet place.

Fantastic place with fantastic views over the vineyard. Very friendly staff. Very interesting wine tour with Fabio. Super cute cats. Great location close to Siena, local villages and Bagni di Petriolo which I recommend. Fantastic food and wine, their steak is to die for. My wife had a massage and was very happy with it.

A very quaint hotel in the middle of the Tuscan countryside with all the modern amenities you need. Our room had a high end finish and an amazing view, worthy of 5 star accommodation. The place has an authentic soul, due to the history of the building and the village it sits within. The food is top-notch and homemade, the family even raises their own livestock and makes their own cheese and milk! The hosts were very kind, welcoming and fluent in English. We will definitely be back!
