We had a wonderful stay in Locanda Il Monastero. We were welcomed by a very kind Lady at the reception. The surroundings are beautiful. The breakfast was excellent. The parking place is very close to the hotel, but there is a small parking lot in front of the hotel, so you can park there while taking out the suitcases from your car. Our apartment was very clean and new. Higly recommended, we would like to come back.

Poetic place. Like modern museum with old relicts. In the bed you hear the water falling to the pond outside which is filled with golden fish. In the evening you eat in the terrace surrounded with blinking fireflies. Lovely and helpful host. Exceeded all expectations!

We really loved the whole place! The Hotel is so beautifully and lovely designed, our room was so wonderful (much space, super clean, very good mattresses, parking spots and absolutely all the things you need). The place situated almost on the beach, so the place is perfect if You wanna have a swim or spend some time on the beach as well. It offers a private garage as well but be careful if You have a low profile sports car the parking can be a bit tricky, but it can be done if You now Your car. The pool is perfect and it is great it has a private pool if You do not want to go to the beach and want to spend Your relaxing time in a wonderful garden. The breakfast was super, and the hotel is very clean. All the stuff is kind and helpful. The whole atmosphere is great and perfect. Due to heavy traffic sometimes if You want to reach the hotel on highway it is very easy and You can get there from the main routes in a few seconds.

Very very clean! Good value for money! The location is wow.. and the surrounding is more than wow! A small canal near with fishes, birds (even 2 swans!), turtles and even a beaver :)) 5 min walk to the nearest beach, a lot of restaurants in the area and 10 min walk from the pedestrian area..

ortonova is really well situated about 30 minutes from la spezia central station giving easy access to 5 terre. The village itself is very pretty and comes alive at night, there are some very good restaurants near by. The convent itself is really calm and the rooms are very big and comfortable.

It was fantastic, Cristina and her family was super nice with us, they treated us that we were in a hotel. They always clead our bathroom day by day and our room as well. They even suprised us because one of our stops was here to celebrate our honeymoon. They are truly a super hospitable host! I can recommed it to everyone! <3
