The breakfast was excellent, varied, from cereals, various yogurts, spreads, egg omelettes, to Italian specialties (nduja sausage, various cheeses) and of course there were also various sweet pies. The location was also great, about 2 km from Tropea. We had a rental car, so we drove to the city every day, because it was also very hot (about 36 degrees). Amazing roof top pool with great views. The staff was very friendly and helpful, always with a smile on their face. I also have to praise the owner, who accommodated us and changed our accommodation so that we got an apartment on the 1st floor with a beautiful view of the sea and the town of Tropea.

The hosts were very responsive to my message before I arrived. Francesca is absolutely lovely and provided great service. The breakfast was wonderful. The property is in a great location, very central and a couple of minutes walk from the train station. The room was great. I can't fault this bed and breakfast and I will definitely book it again.

The resort was located at a great location by the beach, access from the main street with secure gates. Was a bit hilly and sometimes difficult to walk about, but the resort has a buggy car to provide transport to those that find it hard. Rooms are generous in size depending on room. Views are fantastic from balcony. Pool is large enough and plenty for kids to do. Free use of umbrella and beach beds. Facilities are more than adequate for families and alike.

Lovely quiet little town very close to bustling Tropea.

Lovely quiet little town very close to bustling Tropea. Parghelia is perfect for those looking to walk to numerous beaches, some of which are the best in Europe, such as the Spiaggia Michelino which is 5 minute walk from Parghelia. By night, Tropea is only 3 minutes drive, which is a perfect Italian town full of bars, restaurants, shop and of course plenty of history and ancient architecture. The village centre is most certainly the Bar Pepe' which offers the best coffee, gelato, drinks from 6am through to 2am in the summer months. Many activities are held in this village in the summer season, including festivals, markets and religious events. The village also offers all amenities including grocery stores, chemists and corner shops with amazing fresh produce daily such as bread and cheese from the surrounding farms. Picking up sandwiches for the beach is must! Parghelia is accessible by train from LaMezia airport and very walkable for short stays, using the odd taxi to visit Tropea in the evenings. For longer stays, renting a car is advisable to make the most of the surrounding area.

A small friendly safe place with everything we needed for our holiday - a couple of local shops, cafes and excellent restaurants. You can walk to the wonderful Michelino Beach and it’s a very short drive into the historic town of Tropea.

Parghelia is a lovely small village very close to the touristy Tropea. In fact one can see Tropea from Parghelia. It is quiet, yet charming with a few wonderful restaurants and friendly people. Would rather stay here than Tropea. Easy to walk anywhere in Parghelia. Recommend Villino Eleonora to stay as a lovely property with a wonderful family and host, Alessandro.

The hotel has excellent amenities, and the pool, including the hot tub, is located on the top level overlooking the ocean. The place is family run and they take great pride in making aure the guests are always happy. I am definitely coming back here again. I recommend.
