You'll be surrounded by an awesome landscape. The view is speechless and since I was looking for wilderness, silence (or at least nature noises) this place has satisfied all my expectations. Emanuele runs this place entirely on his own and tries as much as he can to let you feel welcomed. I had the opportunity to spend a lunch there and I was impressed by his cooking skills and recipes.

We read the previous reviews so weren't sure how it would be. However, we were pleasantly surprised. Spacious, quiet, great facilities, amazing views, hot water, good cooking facilities, plenty of bathrooms, washing facilities and amazing wifi (80mb download and 4 people on Teams calls during the day). The owners were helpful and responsive. We had no issues so would highly recommend it as a place to stay.

The place was PERFECT!!!!!! I was there for 2 days for work but wish I would have stayed more. When I arrived the lady/owner was there waiting. I arrived before check in time. I speak a little Italian and learning it as I go, so I had a conversation with her and she is very pleasant, unlike some other places I visited that were more business oriented. The house is smack in the middle of nature. The surrounding fields were well taken care of, mown and not overgrown. The little roof at the entrance you see in the pictures is a relaxing terrace with a comfortable sitting area. There is individual heating and air conditioning in the room I stayed. Breakfast was way above and beyond any other breakfast I had on my 45 days long trip. WiFi was excellent (saying that we were 2 single guests and a family of 4 people at the time staying there). Everything was very clean and the overall atmosphere very relaxing. You NEED a car to get there, and I mention this because, in my opinion, it would be less likely for a partying crowd to get there. I would highly recommend this place.

Beautiful B & B with beautiful host. We stayed for a week and were very grateful with the lovely breakfast each morning. The property is outstanding with all comforts catered for. Would highly recommend. It is about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Atina for restaurants and shops. The swimming pool was a great bonus after a long day of sight seeing!

We were visiting to see places where our ancestors came from...

We were visiting to see places where our ancestors came from. The Piazza hasn't changed much over the years and the people are so friendly and welcoming. Lots of lovely walks through the forests if you like walking. Picinisco is very hilly so take good walking shoes. All the restaurants offer fantastic food. We tried most of them and weren't disappointed.

Picinisco is my heritage village and I had not been there...

Picinisco is my heritage village and I had not been there since I was a child. I was absolutely amazed when I arrived by Taxi from Cassino. We were collected by Adriano Capocci (the local Taxi and Bus company owner) who was very efficient and punctual. If you do not drive there or hire a car, Adriano is your man. The historic village is nestled in the mountains, Val Comino in the province of Frosinone. There are two churches, 3-4 restaurants with local produce and two bars where the local community gather each day. During the summer it is inundated with tourists, without feeling overcrowded, it is mostly Italians that emigrated to Scotland (and Ireland like myself) who return to their roots. Picinisco has a magical feel about it and that is mostly thanks to a man named Cesidio di Ciacca (and his family) Picinisco is totally elegant, its sophisticated and a stunning retreat any time of the year. I loved my time there and can't wait to return. You can fly into Roma Ciampino and take a train from Ciampino direct to Cassino and you are almost there. Buon Viaggio...Picinisco is a wonderful place.

Picinisco is a lovely size village with a fantastic location...

Picinisco is a lovely size village with a fantastic location and views for miles around. Very friendly people running the bars and shops. Easy to walk around and stop and have a drink.coffee -always with the amazing views.
