Very nice accommodation, away from the city, but some restaurants are still in a walking distance. Very clean and big rooms, that are also accessible with a wheelchair (just remind the staff to let down the SOS strings, as they were tied up). Pool was also clean and had lots of chairs and umbrellas for shade.

The place has a magical atmosphere, the surroundings and structure are very well kept and there is a lot of greenery. But what makes it so special is the big Italian family that is always welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were greeted with homemade wine and provided with fresh eggs every day. This studio is located on a quiet street in the village of Scoppito, not far from L'Aquila. We arrived late due to a flight delay, but Alessandro gave us a warm welcome and even provided fresh water and some snacks! Casa Menestra is very well furnished, clean and has its own garden. Nice bed and a well-equipped bathroom. Although the house is further away (in time) from L'Aquila than we thought, we found it to be a good base for exploring Abruzzo: L'Aquila, Teramo and Atri, Gran Sasso and Campo Imperatore etc.

This studio is located on a quiet street in the village of Scoppito, not far from L'Aquila.
