If you are seeking a quiet, well-served camp in Wadi Rum, without the din of loud music and large groups, this is ideal. Facilities are basic, though much more than one would expect in a desert setting. Mohammed is a gracious, soft-spoken host. He is punctual and organized. in case you’re thinking of a desert tour (2/3/4 hour), Mohammed is a very safe and careful driver. He does not try to show off his off-roading capabilities by tossing his passengers around in the back of the (Toyota Hilux) pick-up truck. He speaks fluent English and is knowledgeable about Bedouin history and customs.

Literally everything! It’s an amazing camp, they took care of every single detail. The room, like everything else, was super clean and well furnished. Nothing was missing. The dining tend is exceptionally beautiful. The tables, the chairs, the colors, everything fits perfectly. They also have a beduin tend in wich you can have tea or coffee. All very nice and comfortable. Also the position is unbelievable, it’s in the middle of the desert, far from the village and distant from other camps. A real gem! You can have amazing walks around the camp. Another positive aspect, the heating system/AC, water, WiFi, all working 100%. I must say, we are impressed by how professional, helpful and friendly everyone is. Salem organized everything, the pickup, the tour, the check-out. Nothing went wrong and he was always available in case we needed something. At the camp you will find Alex and Said, both are super funny and friendly. Alex made us feeling at home, always helping and taking care of everything. He really knows how to treat guests. He is very professional and he is good company. The experience at the camp with him gets a lift! Said instead is a great chef, he prepared the best dinner and breakfast we had in our vacation! The portions are huge and the quality of the food is very high. If you want to try real homemade traditional Jordan food, you have to come at the Villas. It’s delicious. Last but not least, you will also meet Fahad, maybe for a Jeep tour. He is really really funny and he knows everything about the desert. He drove us around, showed us a lot of beautiful places and shared with us interesting facts about the desert and the beduin culture. He also let us snowboarding on the sand !! And he invited us in many beduin tends were we had tea with locals. A very pleasant and interesting experience. It was really nice to meet him and the others from the camp. We will definitely come back one day!

The whole Trip was an cool and lovely adventure. We came very late but the Beduins from the Camp offered us all necessary services that we need. We also became a Bubble to the priče of a tent. On the next day we make a 4 hour jeep tour with a very friendly Beduin Guy. He took us to awesome spots we will never forget. We think that Wadi Rum is one of the most authentic and friendliest places of Jordan. Take your time there... We will never forget the Star wars Camp and the people there. One special thing about the camp is that in the surrounding are no other Camps, so you can really enjoy the dessert feeling.... Top, Top, Top! (and thanks alot for founding our iPhone...☝️😉)

The tents were absolutely beautiful. The area and the tents were so peaceful. The bed was very big and comfortable! Dinner was pure and appropriate- just right. There was plenty to do or not to do. We loved staying here. Shakar was an excellent host as well- he is astute and understands people and varying needs. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we will return inshaAllah!

Staying at this camp was one of the best decisions in my life.Words are not enough to describe how we felt here.If you decide to travel to Jordan, you must visit this place.We arrived before sunset and had opportunity to enjoy a beautiful sunset on the way to the camp.In the evening we had a classic Bedouin dinner,witch we thoroughly enjoyed.The people were especially nice and the whole camp has pleasant atmosphere.The view from the room was truly exceptional.In the evening we lay down in the swing and watched the sky and in the morning we watched at the sunrise and the beauty of the surroundings.We did camel ride in the desert and also a jeep tour. If you are here,definitely try it. Thank you for everything.This place won our hearts.

We chose night style camp because we definitely wanted to stay in the Wadi Rum Reserve and not in one of the party camps outside. After booking on Booking.com, we immediately received a message from omar with the available options, including prices. We opted for the 4-hour jeep ride and, the morning after our overnight stay, a 1-hour camel ride back to Wadi Rum Village. Everything was well organized, and Selem, our driver, was super nice and showed us great places. The special thing was that after sunset, we didn't drive to the camp like the others, but drank tea around the campfire and enjoyed the special atmosphere. In the camp, we had the family room, which was simple and clean. For dinner, we had the typical Bedouin pot that simmered for several hours in a very tasty dug-in. Unreserved recommendation.

We did the four hour jeep trip, which was just right.

We did the four hour jeep trip, which was just right. We stopped at two Bedouin camps and drank tea. The sites were spectacular and it definitely should be on your list of things to do in Jordan. We stayed in the tents, but the pods are very popular now.

Wadi Rum was spectacular, so otherworldly it felt like...

Wadi Rum was spectacular, so otherworldly it felt like stepping onto another planet. We visited in wintertime, which was perfect: cool air, warm sun, and endless clear blue skies. The sunset tour was the highlight, watching the majestic mountains slowly drenched in red and gold as the sun dipped below the horizon. A marvelous experience.

The camp was clean and the conditions were very good. The atmosphere was very pleasant, with conversations and tea by the fire. The views of the desert were like on another planet, I had never seen them on earth.

A mystical place it left me speechless with its natural beauty. The Wadi Rum Bedouin camp was an excellent choice.Only 10 minutes by Jeep from the Wadi Rum village. and you dont need to prebook Jeep Tours jsut book it directly with the camp on arrival. Exceeded my expectations

Wadi Rum is best experienced by staying at Wadi Rum Desert Adventures - as it's the camp furthest into the desert. You will recognise the scenery from so many films, and the reason is that it's simply stunning. You will be driven through the red sands by Mharm in his 4X4 to the comfortable camp, which has the right balance between comfort and adventure.

Wadi Rum is a truly fascinating place, full of raw, authentic beauty. The local people are extremely friendly and welcoming, offering camel rides and traditional Jordanian tea in their tents. The views are spectacular, with pristine landscapes that feel untouched. It’s no surprise that many famous movies—like Star Wars and Dune—were filmed here. A memorable destination worth visiting.

this is a camp in the desert with a beautiful view. to my surprise there was electrictricity and a hot shower. The facilities were far above my expectations. There are plenty of warm blankets for the cold nights. The breakfast and dinner were Ok. the second day we took a 4x4 tour with Youssef as our guide. He showed us many places in Wadi Rum, gave a lot of explanation on the spots and talked about his way of living as a Bedouin. This is the best experience of our trip in Jordan.

At star wars camp you can order meals (local dinner and breakfast) and a trip in a jeep or camels in the desert. Highly recommended jeep tour (obligatory with Mr. Karim who is an amazing photographer, the best driver and most importantly a genuinely nice guy!). The jeep tour was one of the coolest adventures while in Jordan. We saw the beauty of the Wadi Rum desert and learned a bit about the Bedouins. Jeep tour with Mr Karim highly recommended!

Wadi Rum desert is magic and the staff of the Rum Stars Camp makes it an incredible experience. They plan tours, make dinner and breakfast, play music around the bonfire. We stayed in the beautiful Suite executive, we saw stars on our patio during the night.
