The room was comfortable and pretty spacious for Japan. The staff were friendly and helpful, including both receiving our forwarded luggage and assisting us with forwarding our bags to our next hotel. The location is good, just a few minutes to the Chiba metro, many convenience stores, restaurants and bars, as well as pharmacies and shopping within easy walking distance. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and made our mornings much easier.

The breakfast was very tasty, the staff was friendly. They also had after breakfast hours, a nice patisserie selection with Montblanc cake and seasonal pumpkin roulé for Halloween, very delicious. I also enjoyed the 1990s vibe in the lighting, but my favourite was the breakfast view on the green garden on the station side. It was convenient in the evening to come back with the Keith line to Soga, Chiba minato station also has connection with monorail to Chiba main station. On some hours Narita express can take you to Ofuna super quickly, which is convenient to go to Kamakura just for the day. I think Chiba Mall also had some interesting shops, I haven’t been for a long time, but I think some products that are in high demand in Tokyo are sometimes still available in Chiba. Oh I also enjoyed the Pola body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.

I liked the location so close to the train station. The shopping and restaurants were wonderful and there was a nice park nearby. The rooms are small and they stuff a large massage chair into the better rooms, which is nice but increases the crowding for two occupants. We used the washing machine and the microwave and were grateful for all amenities including the convenience shop next door.

The location of the hotel is exceptional, especially if you are travelling to the Makuhari Messe area for events. There are malls nearby with lots of restaurants and shopping, and a 24 hour convenience store very nearby. Best of all, Chiba station is in the same building.

Amazing location so close to the train station. The room was bigger than others in Japan, cafe on site, laundry facilities were great and cost effective. Very friendly staff and I was able to pay for a late check out which helped with a late flight departure. Would definitely recommend!

Hotel Route Inn Goi in Chiba is great for our needs — close to the station via car,, clean, and reasonably priced. The rooms are the typical size for a Japanese business hotel, is compact but comfortable and has everything you need. The showers are great with strong water pressure.
