I truly enjoyed the town of Kashiwara and Yuya-san's hospitality. It was a peaceful and quiet town that is decently connected to Oji station, which is well connected to Osaka, Kyoto and Nara!

The hotel is clean, comfortable, and very well located near Kawachi-Matsubara Station. There’s convenient luggage storage, and from the station you can take the express train — just one stop to Tennoji — where you’ll find Don Quijote, Ichiran, and many shops for last-minute purchases before heading home. The room is small but cozy and well-lit, with a heated toilet seat and daily towel replacement (they hang a fresh towel on your door every day). Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

I had a truly wonderful stay at U Community Hotel in Osaka. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the entire facility — everything was spotless and well-maintained. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, especially Ms. Imao and Ms. Kambara, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and pleasant. Their warm hospitality made me feel right at home. The hotel offers adequate facilities for a 3-star accommodation and even provides personal accessories that can be quite handy during your stay. I found this small detail to be very thoughtful and convenient. Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. The hotel is just a short walk from the subway station, making it easy to explore the city. There are four convenient stores nearby, including a 7-Eleven, family mart, and a large hypermarket stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables — perfect for picking up snacks or daily essentials. The neighborhood itself is lovely, safe, and peaceful, providing a nice contrast to the busy city center. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. For a 3-star property, the service, location, and comfort exceeded my expectations. I genuinely loved my stay and would gladly return on my next visit to Osaka.

We so much enjoyed our time at this temple - the scenic look of this mountaineous area, an extensive temple area, the symbol of the tiger in a few corners, just a very serene atmosphere. Getting there by public transport was not a problem (bus from Oji station, well signposted). We were greeted at the reception and then could move into our Japanese style tatami rooms. Toilets and bath are shared which were meticously clean. The dinner and breakfast were amazing. Attending the goma fire ritual very early in the morning felt so special.
