What a find this hotel is-set in a lovely picturesque quiet village of Yoshida- the hotel which comprises nine floors has only got 16 accommodation units, each is like a mini apartment with stunning views. The staff could not have been more helpful they went out of their way to make our visit memorable.. My wife and I are both vegetarian and they made a real effort to cook a special breakfast for us every morning and a beautiful evening meal. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Location of this hotel is unique on Shodoshima island, including fantastic view of sunset while dining (or just sitting in the lobby!). It also connects to a quiet park full of Sakura trees. Public bathes have great view too. Facility is not brand new, but the experience of using them was greatly comfortable. Most importantly, service is outstanding. We are a family of 5, not speaking Japanese, the hotel front desk helped us a lot on transportation to and from Ikeda port and local supermarket. we cooked in our family suite and enjoyed three days stay. We highly appreciate the service from hotel staff. Thank you very much!

One of the best guesthouses I've been to so far! The room was immaculate and had everything I needed. The view is stunning and is the best scenery you could wish for when you wake up in the morning. The location is perfect; it's literally one minute away from the beach and the bus station. Be sure to drop by the dillydally cafe!

Sen Guesthouse is located in a beautiful and peaceful location on Shodoshima, with a gorgeous view overlooking the bay and mountains on the far side. Upon entering our room and opening the window, we were greeting by a refreshing cool breeze coming off the water and the sounds of birds chattering in the forested hills around us. really like the retro showa vibe of the house, everything is super clean, shower is strong, comfortable beds, nice clean kitchen and nice bbq space outside, with lots of fun equipments free to use , really liked the swing beside the front door! great seaside view just infront! friendly neighbourhood , very nice host! cute keyring for doors and bike
