Friendly staff. Room was quite spacious. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is very quiet and there is double glazing so you can't hear the highway noise.

What an amazing stay we had at Marumine Kanko Hotel. The futons were comfortable and they have extra if you need. We slept like babies. The open-air bath is a must. You can take a bath any time you want and it was absolutely stunning especially that it snowed during our stay. The room was spotless clean, the bathroom came with all kind of skin care products. We had half board. The breakfast and the supper were buffet style with many varieties of dishes western and Japanese style. All super delicious. My 11 yo son (that didn't want to leave) and I adored our stay and next time will be back to Japan we will be booking a whole week at this hotel. The area is awesome, surrounded by forests and hills and there is a river that we could see and hear from our room. The people working there are very friendly and professional and they will go above and beyond to help you. For some reason my name was not taken down for the 10:00 shutlle on our check out day and one of the receptionist brought us to Ashinomaki Onsen Station with one of the hotel's car. Amazing experience! I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for everything.

Lovely staff who tried their best to accommodate me. The room was spacious with a big screen and aircon. Ofuro was available, which was a nice surprise as almost everywhere I went the bath was never in use.
