I visited Uji to explore Hibike! Euphonium pilgramage spots. This place was in a great location to do so. Host was very kind, and made sure I got to the location safely. Will come here again if I ever return to Uji!!!

Stayed here last Saturday and Sunday, and it was one of the highlights of my Japan trip! After a week of walking through different cities, it felt amazing to finally borrow a Japanese bike from the hostel — such a memorable experience. 🚲 The location is perfect — very easy to find and close to everything you’d want to see in Uji. From top-tier specialty coffee and matcha shops to just relaxing by the river, everything is within walking (or biking!) distance. My room was neat and cozy, complete with a television, AC, and a comfy futon. The common area was also a huge plus — you can borrow glasses and plates for takeout meals, and there’s a fridge where you can store food. This is super convenient since most shops close by 5–6 PM. I loved the chill atmosphere and how this place made my Uji stay feel extra special. ✨ I’m definitely hoping to revisit Uji and stay here again!
