This is an exceptionally charming hotel with great access to the night market via their free shuttle. I've stayed at hundreds of hotels and I must say that Pinky was the best. She really went above and beyond to arrange for the taxis, activities, booking tickets for the train and even helped us find a fantastic free hospital for kids nearby. We are so thankful for her help and she was the first we contacted!

Incredibly luxurious property built in a rice paddy on the edge of Luang Prabang. It feels like a private oasis back in time. Large beautiful rooms with comfortable beds, balconies, wonderful bathroom with huge bath tub. Three pools, multiple restaurants, beautiful spa, option classes/experiences on site. Staff was very attentive.

We had the coziest stay at Hillside. Holger and his family are incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. We felt thoroughly taken care of and the property itself was a dream (we especially loved the two ponies, Jason and Elwood). there’s plenty of trekking to do within walking distance from the property, and they have even pathed out a 360 view point trail that’s behind the property. Finally, the food was amazing and fresh. we would definitely come back here if given the chance.

It’s such an amazing discovery uniquely located not far from the town but in a perfect greenery hills and forest. It’s beautifully designed, eco style, simple but with great pinch of taste. Your hosts are looking after for all your needs, food prepared by Frederic and his wife is sublime. I’d stay longer if I could.
