We had an absolutely amazing stay at Whisky Point Resort, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!! A special shoutout to Mufaris and Murthala for their outstanding and precise service—they went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The highlight of our stay was the incredible food and drinks. The iced tea was the best we’ve ever tasted, and the pizza was absolutely divine! Every bite and sip transported us to a place of pure bliss. Whisky Point Resort truly feels like a little paradise nestled within an already paradise-like island. The serene ambiance, combined with the warmth and hospitality of the staff, makes this a must-visit destination. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience. We’ll be back for sure!

The location is amazing, you have your own private access to a beach, you can hear the ocean from your room, great food with lots of options, and friendly/kind staff, the room was so peaceful, great size with four poster beds and a walk in shower, it's a beautifully made Cabana, top tip, go in February for off season to enjoy complete quiet/chilled time and avoid swathes of other tourists

I loved staying at Babar Point! The owners, Catherine and Michel were very welcoming and made sure we were taken care for the whole time we were there! Helped us arrange boards for surfing, scooters and drivers if needed a tuk tuk. They really made it feel like a home, which was so nice after a few days travelling around Sri Lanka. The bungalows are super comfortable and clean.

Nice pool, large room, the accommodation is good, but a little bit expensive. Arugam Bay makes at the moment a change, the prices are getting high, when we came the last time many things changed (the restaurants and bars we knew, we’re not there anymore) and the service is for tourists

Had a wonderful stay at Bay Vista. The two men working the front desk were so kind and helpful, they went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. They helped arrange surf lessons and transportation. Room was clean and comfortable, and there is a lot of room in the restaurant/gardens area to relax. It was nice to have beach chairs right in front of the property. The yoga class on the rooftop each evening was lovely. The hotel is in a great location, about a 10 minute walk along the beach to the main point for surfing every day and it is central to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely return!

This hotel is brand new, so everything feels clean, fresh, and modern. The facilities are excellent — each room has a lovely outdoor chill-out area, and the garden adds a nice relaxing touch. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Excellent location, 10 minutes by foot from Arugam Bay, Pasarichenai beach and city center. This homestay is outside enough to avoid the crowd and noise from the city center. It's run by a very sweet family who offered us drinks at our arrival. This very rustic place also has a restaurant with tasty food and affordable prices (recommend the home-made rottis). For those who wish a nice, calm home stay outside while being able to enjoy Arugam Bay. NB: They also have a cheap tuktuk you can use to get around.

The most amazing stay highly recommended!* ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stayed at *Doppel Gangs* in Arugam Bay and had the most unforgettable experience. The hotel is in the *perfect location* close enough to the main road (just a 1-minute walk!) to access everything easily, but tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet without the crowds and noise. The hotel is *by far the cleanest* I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka, with daily housekeeping that keeps everything fresh. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. There’s also a *really nice pool*, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. But what truly made this stay exceptional was the *incredible staff*, especially *Hibed*. We were a group of 8 girls and one boy, and from the moment we arrived, Hibed went *above and beyond* to make us feel safe, welcomed, and cared for. His kindness, thoughtfulness, and attentiveness were beyond anything we expected. He was always there to help whether it was organizing *tuk tuk rides* at *any time, to any place, with any notice*, fixing a ripped pair of pants with a local seamstress, or surprising us with freshly made yogurt. Every little thing he did added to the magic of our stay. I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world, but I’ve *never* encountered a staff that had such a genuine impact on my overall experience. *Thank you, Doppel Gangs, for an incredible stay. We’ll never forget it.* Can't wait to come back!
