It was really amazing stay. It looks like on pictures. I felt very well take care for. The hotel has just 4 rooms, gives you private vibes, very calm place, nice environment around (jungle vibes). Very close to the beach and "center" (5 mins), but thankfully outside of noisy busy life. Breakfast was good and everyday different (srilankan, but you can opt for classic english). Room was beautiful and spacious, all facilities worked well. Complimentary water after cleaning. Great matress and bedsheets, for me very suitable pillows. Special thanks to Theekshana for booking for me private yoga class and other things, as well as management of late check-out for me.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We had a welcome juice and unlike other places could take card or cash. The jungle setting and location was quiet a d tranquil and I loved the surroundings. Birds, palm squirrels and the accommodation's dog added to the experience. The room was big and spacious with a back patio area to have drinks and look at the jungle. Tea and coffee and toiletries came with the room, toilet roll. Some places haven't so just thought it was worth mentioning. I loved the outdoor pool and the general outdoor area. I chilled with a book outside.

We had a wonderfull stay at river shades! We stayed in the private villa for two days with the view on the lagoon and, although the hotel just started and there are still some activities going to finish the place, It was a truly wonderful and relaxing place. The pool is lovely, and the lagoon is very peaceful! The staff's service is also excellent; they do everything they can to make your stay perfect! We absolutely recommend this place and would definitely return!

The staff of Mudliyar house is truly amazing. The really make sure you all having the best time and are very interested and intuitive. The chef is incredible. Best foods of Sri Lanka so far! The pool and garden are clean and very nice with sun and shade in the pool. Perfect for the children. There is a small beach where you can swim just across the street. Our stay was very relaxed. We stayed 5 days and enough every minute. Thank you all for your great stay!
