I loved this hotel, the room was amazing (it even had a jacuzzi) and the restaurant delicious. The owner Nuwan was very nice, he even picked us up at the train station and offered us a welcome drink. I would have loved to stay more! We did the morning river safari and went to the beach in the afternoon, which is right in front, on the other side of the river (they will take you with their boat and pick you up). Highly recommend!

The location is amazing. Its right at the beach. This hotel is run by family and the owner personally takes good care of the guests. The best part was even if the owner's wife was in hopsital, he came all the way just to ensure that we have a smooth checkin. Thanks a lot for the gesture Harshit. The breakfast was amazing and was cooked by owner's family so you get to taste the home food. I would definately come back to this place if i visit next. Thanks Harshit for all the help. One of our favourite hotels of our trip. The room was huge, its was clean, our view was awesome and the bed was super comfy. The staff were super attentive. The chef went above and beyond to cook fresh fish for our dinner to perfection, the food was delicious and breakfast was huge.

A truly exceptional small hotel near one of the best beaches in Sri Lanka. We stayed for two nights at first and after a few nights in Galle we returned to Villa Bentota given that the hotel was just so good. The hotel buildings and interiors are really beautiful and clean. The room is cleaned in the morning and the staff also enquires if there is a need to do a second cleaning later during the stay. The surroundings are exceptional. All of the staff at the hotel very helpful (although at least one of them was only in it for the tips) and very professional. Special thanks to Chamod and Malith. The breakfast was amazing and the best we had in the 7 hotels we stayed in Sri Lanka. Lunch and dinner were great as well, offering the option to cook essentially whatever the client likes (of course within limits).

This is a family owned and managed homestay. The facilities are a little older but well maintained. We really liked having the Pool in front of our terrace and access to the beach was no more than 50 meters. The owner arranged for laundry service and took care of all out requests. No dinner service was offered but there are numerous exceptional beach resturants within a 10 to 20 minute walk. We highly recommend this homestay.

Monica and her parents are such lovely hosts who do everything to make you happy. The beach villa, the rooms, and most of all the pool are great! Breakfast is lovely and served on a nice terrace. And the beach right in front of the property with nice restaurants in walking distance. What else could you wish for!

The location of the property is excellent. On the beach itself. The pool is clean and big enough for a swim and leisure. It’s a peaceful place to unwind and be away from traffic and noise. Trees and greenery surrounds you. Sagarika is a perfect host.
