The accommodation is located a few minutes from the city center, in the part where the locals live, the environment corresponds to that, but we felt safe there. The owner was nice and helpful, the breakfast was great. A short distance from the accommodation is a busy center, where you can easily choose authentic food from many restaurants. Parking in front of the house without problems. A more demanding guest would perhaps welcome if the paint in the rooms was not peeling, but we used this place on the way from the desert to Fes like many others and as such it met our expectations.

We arrived at the ITO Atlas Timnay chalets at around 9 p.m. and we had a hearty welcome. We enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant, consiting of a Moroccan soup and a vegetarian pizza. Both were very tasty and more than enough. The waiter in the restaurant was also very friendly. In general, the staff speak good English at ITO Atlas Timnay chalets. The chalets consist of two separate apartments under one roof. After more than a week in Morocco, this was the first accommodation with radiators, as is common in Europe. Overall, the apartment is very spacious, tastefully decorated, and comfortably furnished. The hot water comes on quickly and the lighting—especially in the bathroom—is very good. The breakfast is very extensive and delicious. It leaves nothing to be desired. The parking spaces are covered and secure.

Ksar Timnay Hotel is a 15-minute walk from Timnay Ecological Park and 5 km from Berber villages. It offers an outdoor swimming pool and air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi access.

The hotel is located right by the lake, with no other houses around. Most peaceful place in Morocco I've visited. We were the only guests therefore we had the whole mountain and lake for ourselves. That's a treat. The hotel is brand new (with a history goes way back though), beautifully decorated, super clean and offers 100% comfort. Staffs are extremely friendly, attentive and informative, shared a lot of knowledge and information with us and in the mean time made us feel like home. We enjoyed every minute of our time being here and it was surely an unexpected highlight thoughout our whole moroccan trip. Though it's not right on the touristic route but totally worth it to make a short detour and spend one or two nights here.
