Diana Lodge is like a magical, wonderful place that u wish to be one day. This time it was real and Everything about this place is pur magic. The people were outstandig, starting with the Host Beatrice. It felt Like at Home and thank one more time for the time and Patience 👍🏻 Tata and André in the kitchen, magic Food, thanks for Ur Creativity. Frank as the Bar Keepern always there with a smile and thanks for the caipis and teaching me to Dance madagassy way🙏🏻 and everybody Else who made me feel Like at Home ❤️

So charming. The property owner has built gorgeous traditional Malagasy villas in a beautiful garden overlooking the ocean. Make sure you arrive in time to enjoy an apero whilst watching the sun go down. The dinner is fabulous and is brought to you on your own private terrace. At breakfast the highlight was the home-made vanilla jam - divine!

We had issues with our flight and could not make it to the hotel our first night - the boats dont go once its dark. They were very understanding and advised us a hotel nearby the port on Nosy Be and made arrangements for our transfer the next day! The staff made sure it was a wonderful time. They also bring coffee each morning and make sure your terrace is rain proof by gathering all the stuff each night. We went for a full board and everyday the lunch and dinner varried. They mentioned it"d be 80% fish, but we saw that if you prefer meat they can cater to that. The cocktails are also great and if you can't choose, just let them make you something and be surprised! The dog and cats were friendly, a big plus for us animal lovers.

A unique place, one of those places that I will remember forever.

Short version: stop looking and just book this amazons place. Longer version: we travel a lot and are a bit picky. This place really surprised us and was far beyond our (pretty high) expectations. Property: As there are only 4 chalets, it gives a very private and exclusive feeling. The chalets are simple but classy and beatiful and with amazing balconys and views. You could stay there all say - but don’t :) The outside environment is lovely with a beatiful garden with lots of trees, flowers and plants. The beach area is very pretty with comfy sunbeds and umbrellas perfectly placed in privacy. There are SUP boards and kayaks free of charge to use and you should! The sea is lovely, warm and safe and you can see fish and some turtles just swimming off the beach. The main building terrace where you have your meals is stunning with the most amazing view over the sea. If you are like us interested in birds you will be able to see some beautiful ones in the garden and from your balcony ! Food: We stayed for 9 nights and were never bored of the food. Breakfast is lovely with eggs, fruit and bread with a variety each day. Dinner is three courses and of course lo of focus on fish. Great, tasty and fresh food with lots of local produce. You can also get light lunches like a salad or a burger. Really good and very affordable. Service/staff: What makes this place so great is the people. Owners Sunette and Isak are just amazing warm and friendly hosts (and even more amazing persons !)and they Will make you feel like home (but better). Nothing is a problem, great attention to details and help with anything you need. For example great excursions for snorkeling and other stuff. Rest of the staff is also really great and you will be very well looked after. We really didn’t want to leave !! We had our last nights in another place on nosy be , was nice but far from this place. If I knew before I had definitely stayed here instead.

We stepped off the boat onto the Coco Komba beach to a wonderful greeting by the owners followed by a family of lemurs. Our boys even got to feed them bananas (the lemurs, not the owners 😂). The family accommodation is really well designed and comfortable with 2 separate bedrooms divided by the bathroom and an outdoor sitting area. It’s located in the beautiful gardens and a fine viewing spot for the lemurs once more. The food was exceptional. Very thoughtful, very tasty and very well presented and served. We particularly enjoyed the whole crabs and the homemade bread, butter and jams. We really liked spending time relaxing at the beach, snorkelling out to the fantastic reef, the amazing sunsets and all the games and books provided. Big thanks to Patrick, Naik and the rest of the staff for making our stay so special and memorable!
