I don’t think there is any view that could beat this one. I had to pinch myself from time to time to make sure that I wasn’t dreaming. Aside from that, the cabins were beautifully designed and decorated, the bed was very comfortable. The service staff was friendly and attentive. I really liked the furniture of the dining area. If you seek to relax and unwind I guess there’s no better place in Mauritius. For exploring the island I don’t think it would be the best base, since it’s taking a while to get up there. Therefore it’s really close to the seven earth, the waterfall and the Chamarel national park itself, since the chalets are basically inside the park. Altogether we enjoyed our stay to the fullest.

The resort is amazing and very spacious, you never feel like it’s crowded because it’s very big. The beach is fabulous and the pools as well. The room was very spacious and clean, bed very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent, lots of delicious options, very good vegan options as well, they even had protein powder options. Kawaii restaurant is a MUST try, it was the most delicious food I ever had in my life. Buffet dinner at the main kitchen was amazing as well, very well cooked and diverse. Every single person from the staff was incredibly nice and attentive, every chat and interaction with them was delightful. We learned a lot from them about the island and their culture. They also have a nice bar area where they have free games you can play at the table (cards, chess, monopoly etc). ALSO an important thing if you want to visit other parta of the islan or if you have a rental car, from this place it’s very easy to get pretty much anywhere, I think it’s one of the best areas to stay. And the weather here is better than other parts of the island because it’s not as windy and cloudy

The best thing in our trip to Mauritius, was definitely the stay in Residence au bout du Morne. Our hosts were outstanding, very helpful and full of hospitality. Meals served in Residence tasted delicious. Facilities were clean and cozy. There was AC in the room and a parking space in front of a house. The bathroom was brand new. You have also access to refrigerator. Definitely worth it.
