Otium exceeded my expectations. The hospitality of the owners who live in the same place is warm and friendly. The design of the apartment is based on nature and you feel that the soul was put into it. It is great pleasure to spend time in your own jungle on the terrace. Bed is big and comfortable, water pressure is very good, soundproofing is also beyond reproach. The cleaning is at the highest levels. Otium has its own parking spacious area. There are all necessary kitchen’s facilities and it is also possible to go for breakfast by car to Wapalapam restaurant (about 8 minutes), they serve breakfast from 9:00 to 11:00. A lot of thanks to Valentina, Guillaume and the lady who cleans apparements for my unforgettable vacation on Mauritius🇲🇺!!!

Very kind staff. Our room was upgraded to Junior Suite, which was very thoughtful of them. Many activities that are available for free: catamaran, water ski, SUP etc. Very delicious restaurant with the variety of great meals. Beach is beautiful. We thank everything!

Best stay in mauritius. It was raining when we checked in at night so getting there was challenging but well worth it. Even though we weren't blessed with sunshine during our one night stay, the room is absolutely gorgeous and staff also great. Our server Danny definitely deserves a shout out. Highly recommend especially great for romantic getaways.

The resort is amazing and very spacious, you never feel like it’s crowded because it’s very big. The beach is fabulous and the pools as well. The room was very spacious and clean, bed very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent, lots of delicious options, very good vegan options as well, they even had protein powder options. Kawaii restaurant is a MUST try, it was the most delicious food I ever had in my life. Buffet dinner at the main kitchen was amazing as well, very well cooked and diverse. Every single person from the staff was incredibly nice and attentive, every chat and interaction with them was delightful. We learned a lot from them about the island and their culture. They also have a nice bar area where they have free games you can play at the table (cards, chess, monopoly etc). ALSO an important thing if you want to visit other parta of the islan or if you have a rental car, from this place it’s very easy to get pretty much anywhere, I think it’s one of the best areas to stay. And the weather here is better than other parts of the island because it’s not as windy and cloudy

We had a wonderful stay with great hosts. They are super friendly and the dinner is absolutely worth it. Also a lovely breakfast. The house is located very close to the beach. It's helpful to speak some words of french, but english will also work. Would definitely recommend!

I highly recommend this place. The owner is an incredibly kind and helpful person. he helped me organize several trips and put me in touch with people who offer services such as kitesurfing. He also recommended great places where I could enjoy really good food. The apartment is very well equipped, with a kitchen, air conditioning and a bathtub. Everything was clean and comfortable. As a solo traveler, I felt very well taken care of and completely at ease here. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling alone.
