Although when you arrive at the gate it does not look promising, it will surprise you. Great place! I would say amazing. Opened in 2026 and you can still feel it's new. It's designed and decorated in a very nice way. We enjoyed our stay and the food.

Not a fan of camping but this was definitely glamping. Lovely large tent with an ensuite bathroom. Restaurant on site was fabulous.

Ohorongo reserve was by far our best experience in 15 days in Namibia. We felt at home from the first moment and the staff, in particular Daniel, in charge of the lodge and guide, and Vejama, our waitress, did everything to exceed our expectations and meet all our desires. We had booked for 1 night but ended up staying 2 nights because we loved it. We were the only guests but all the services and facilities of the Lodge were available to us, as the swimming pool, a fire at night and a very talented chef, Elizabeth, cooking for us. Our bungalow was very spacious and beatifully decorated with rich materials and furniture. We had the best meals, that included breakfast, lunch and dinner and the most special moment: freshly baked cake everyday at 4 pm. We went for a sunset game drive with Daniel, that knows everything about the reserve and is the most kind person, where we saw many animals - including giraffes (there are a lot in the reserve, near the swimming pool and our bungalow), monkeys, oryx, springbock, different antylopes, etc - and ended with a drink watching the most incredible sunset! The lodge is only 1h50 to the gate of Etosha National Park (the indications to the lodge in Google maps are not correct, but que followed the indications given by the lodge and it was very easy to get there). We trully recommend Ohorongo to anyone visiting Namibia!

Loved the quirky decor and artistic upcycling, making the property really unique. Friendly, helpful staff.

Lovely place, facility is quite new and rooms are very cosy. Personnel was very helpful, and Food was delicious. There is a terrace to Watch wildlife. We’ ve regreted that we spent there only 1 night.

Well maintained facilty with clean large rooms, friendly staff and excellent meals.
